Of course, the NFL can't handle someone upstaging the Super Bowl. THat's why we get stuck with a lot of rubbish halftime shows. For me, I'd be thrilled if they'd finally pull out the big guns in Iron Maiden, Rammstein, ACDC (who are releasing a new album, would've been a great choice), or Metalica for the next halftime show. But, then again, those bands would steal the show from the Super Bowl, so the NFL won't do that.

no one in the audience they are catering to wants to hear 70+ Year old men in hard rock bands. Literally more than half the households would switch the channel.

the nfl is entertaining the non nfl fan with the halftime shows.

Allen seems to be feeling the pressure of his first championship game.

yup...getting wild. This is where a smart coordinator would run the football....throw in some play action. Get some easy throws going.

I agree, even though it'd be a rating smash lol. But then you'd have a bunch of people crying about how heavy Rammstein is. I think pretty much everyone watching them would love them though. Even if they didn't know a word of what Rammstein was saying. Plus, Rammstein might get bored with how heavy they are lol. Germans party much harder than Americans. I've seen it for myself when I watched Germany win the World Cup while at a bar in Cologne in 2014. Germans partying is so much fun! And hey! That could be fun that the NFL is missing lol. Either way, great music transcends language. Just hearing Du Hast blasting through the speakers with their pyrotechnics going off would steal the show....oh, that's why the NFL won't do it.
That's true about Germans. I was in Wurzburg in 2002 when Germany were runners up in the world cup.

That they can lol. If you've seen those guys drink, you can imagine how much they drink during a WC Final watching their country win. And by the way, I'm not much of a drinker, but I like a good German beer. German beer like Dom (a Cologne beer) is very nice and strong. And seeing Germans drinking that and watching the WC leads to a very entertaining atmosphere lol. Especially when they win lol.
There is only one truly great beer

FOSTERS!

Andy Reid’s face covering looks like a feeding bag.

Anyone else remember Mahomes first AFCCG? The Chiefs were shut out in the first half. They rallied in the second but still lost. Hasn't lost one since.

This is Allen's first AFCCG. It's obvious he's feeling the pressure, but he's not the first one to do it.

There's only one TB12, who never seemed to feel it.

Trust me, Iron Maiden would generate a TON of interest. Also, Rammstein is a younger band. Hearing them play the halftime show would check a lot of criteria. Till Lindeman (the lead singer) is 58, and he has amazing vocals.

I didn't know you were that old.
LOL - was not around when the original films were made (King Kong in 1933, Godzilla in 1954)...but recall watching them on TV ( a black & white set -Motorola brand). Mid 1960s.

Yeah, having seen them party like I did in 2014, I can imagine the party they had in 2002. Unfortunately, they lost the final then, but it must still have been quite the atmosphere. Nothing like seeing a European country win a world title within their country. Americans have much to learn about partying.
