Good luck to the team that has to trade a bunch of draft capital to take on Watson and his contract......you better be stacked on offense and defense and be able to draft.

Deshaun is a downgrade from Dak IMO. He does too many hero ball things. We need someone who plays within the confines of the offense. THAT IS DAK.

You don't believe that yourself, Give Watson these weapons and a healthy line with Zeke behind him and he makes us instant NFC Contenders possibly super bowl contenders if the defense is fixed properly

Disagree. He was incredible last season and finished the season with a record passing percentage. People just assume with his style that he is like that.

I was at Watson's first nfl game...I like the dude a TON and he's way underrated imo.

No.. I think Mahomes is the only guy worth that type of deal.

If you want to pay someone who already has a championship that kind of money then by all means go ahead and reward them and accept that you aren't going to win anything.

But a franchise with no Superbowl paying their QB like that is just stupidity unless they just don't have championship aspirations.

It's hard to win a title with a QB making Jared Goff money much less 40 million.

Fans on local radio around here are totally fine parting with three...even FOUR first round picks to get him....

Which is curious to me because I don't see how they put a team around him by trading those picks....

Included would obviously be the 2nd pick this year....so Houston would end up with Wilson or Fields plus the extra picks plus the salary savings.

It's arguably the difference between 5-6 legit starters.

The Jets are in primo position to rebuild but they seem ready to give it away for Watson alone.

Why would we pay him his contract and also give up draft picks? Is he going to fix our run defence? I cant see him coming onto the field and stopping a RB.
