Yeah he is great.

He was the "best" guy on one of the worst ST units I've ever witnessed in 2019.

Makes no difference whether he comes back or not.

That he was, and I think it does make a difference actually. Your ST not only gives you 3 points, but it also determines where your offence will start with the ball, and at what spot your defence will begin its work to stop the opposing offence. If you have a ST ace, he can help your defence. With how poor we are on defence, a ST player like Goodwin is helpful there.

Absolutely!
Goodwin and Ced Wilson have been really good as gunners on the punt team... re-sign both.

can't recall seeing much from Ced as a tackling gunner. More so as a Beasley type safe fair catcher and running Bones' trick plays.
i'd still like a big splash speedy punt returner and another WR that can threaten his roster role.

Haha Cedric Wilson didn't do much tackling but he was down field fast and in position to cause a fair catch.

Well, Noah Brown is a UFA, so there's a spot for the type of WR you speak of. Wilson is RFA, so he's more than likely on the team.

He's excellent playing on ST and acting as a QB spy. He's great at both of those but not well suited at outside CB. Could possibly be a decent backup in the slot. He has very specific traits but is definitely a keeper.

he’s UFA?!?

9 tackles.

he’s 31.

we can replace him in the draft, or pick up an UFA.

Was he really that GOOD or was he simply not BAD?

As a special-teamer, yes. As a part of the regular defense, absolutely not.

Price has got to be right.

Like I said, he has specific abilities that he's highly capable in. In the coming year, I think we'll stick with him but after that, perhaps not. The number of reps in ST are highly limited, hence the modest number of tackles. Yet, he's one of the team best contributors in that area.

I like CJ, and wouldn’t mind if he is brought back. Every team needs good role players.
