Two young defensive starters automatically eliminates Dallas from the picture..Dallas doesn't have 2 young defensive starters to begin with, even if they were interested in Watson

Those that even think about this makes me laugh and I mean laugh so hard it brings tears to my eyes. So many balk about paying Prescott yet want to trade for Watson who has a bigger contract than what Prescott will probably get The biggest whine about paying Prescott is no money to sign defensive players so the Cowboys won't be any better but somehow trading for a QB with a bigger contract will change that. FUNNY!

not true while they had good rookie seasons they haven done squat yet..they lose rankings dude to not enough data..sorry we seen that story before , they have few years to prove it and i mean Mahomes prove it , wilson, ben, all of them went to SB in their first 2 seasons and than continued to get better..these dudes put up some stats on losing teams..

not that impressive until it turns into more..Murray is higher then them IMO because hes improved and showing signs of actually turning his team around..

you dont get auto spots on rookie stats unless they have a playoff run in them..sorry stats are uselss without real results...hilarious Lawrence hasn't been drafted yet and some rankings for 2021 have in it it already,. Really? seriously stop it..

is this list under 30 only? because if so i can see it but rogers and brady are next on any list..daks not there yet unless we bring age into it..rogers is the 2021 MVP so lets not put him out to pasture yet..also injuries' matter Burrows and dak have incomplete seasons..so? btw Wilson is still better but i see what dak apologists are doing add age in wo the list becomes compressed and leaves out great QBs..

My under 30 list

Mahomes

Grad canyon gap

Watson slight edge over dak
Dak
Allen
Jackson
Mayfield
Herbert
Burrows

But over all top 6 we keep harping on

mahomes

large gap

Rogers
Wilson
watson
dak
Allen/jackson tied for 6th

up and comers sure
Murray
Mayfield
Herbert
Burrows
Tua

no one currently not in the nfl is allowed on an nfl list ..thats stupid
You have the best QB insight I’ve seen on this board.

Josh Allen needs to be on that short list as well as Herbert and Kyler.
Josh Allen is Carson Wentz status to me until I see him have another great year. If he does he probably gets the #2 spot under Mahomes.

kyler started off GREAT this year and fizzled out. I think Cardinals make the playoffs next year.

Now Houston wants 6 premium players for a Disgruntled QB who hasn’t won squat in one of the weakest divisions recently.
Since wins are not a QB stat, is there any objective measure of performance that you can point to that says Watson isn't that good?

Diggs was the best rookie cornerback in the NFL last season. Wilson is a playmaker. They are probably the most valuable players on the defense at the moment when you consider cost. Now I agree that really shows how bad our defense is. I also know that Houston would laugh us off the phone.

If Dak agrees to a new contract with Houston; I would offer in exchange for Watson:

1. Dak
2. LVE
3. 1 of our young starting safeties
4. a third & fifth round pick

Watson would not come to Dallas anyway based on how the organization is run. I don't blame him either.

Eh I know McClain is HOF media to some but I found him to be a clown when I was in Houston. He does know more rumors than real football but I still don’t trust him completely. But if Lions got what they did for old Stafford I think this may be close

I don't know why folks would think this asking price (if true) is absurd?

1. The Texans have to set the asking price high....that's just a given; and

2. The Lions just got two (2) 1st round picks + 3rd rounder, and a replacement starting QB for a soon-to-be 33-year old Stafford that is not nearly the talent Watson is.

He's very well connected to the franchise, so you can take this to the bank......

He does have insight, but he’s also as biased as it comes to the Texans. To the point of excusing their total dysfunction.

They can want whatever crazy haul he’s describing but the league also knows they have a player who totally wants out too.

Completely agree! I used to listen to 610 when living in Houston and he would just repeat stuff that “football” people told him despite it making no sense. This usually was while he was making excuses for Kubiak failing over and over. He definitely has a lot of Mickey in him. I only enjoyed him when he’d tell old stories from the day where the sportswriters would go out drinking with the players etc

Who said wins are not a QB stat? I don't agree with that. Wins are one stat to gauge a QB in the right context. When evaluated properly wins are a key wat to evaluate QBs. Who wants a QB who can't win big games like Kirk Cousins? Who wants a QB who only has big stats?

Watson is good. He just isn't 'that' good. He is not so good that I would trade 6 premium players for him.

For all those saying he is a wonderful person which I am sure he is. But sure looks like he wants to bail on his teammates and fans when he didn't get the head coach he wanted. Not cool. He is being paid quite a lot of money and should show loyalty to his teammates and fans. Quitting and demanding to play elsewhere is not a leadership trait I admire. He is a leader of that team. He needs to lead not throw in the towel when the going gets tough.

I disagree on Watson being top 3. Is he flashy and good when things get chaotic? YES. But I see a guy that tries to do too much and gets the team in trouble.I think He is ranked between 5-10. NO WAY is he top 3. Dak is about 5th best QB in the league right now when you factor in retirements. He needs to be paid like it. Give me Dak all day long ahead of Watson. I love Daks accuracy and touch , leadership much better than Watson.

Good luck with that HOU.
Houston is asinine. THEY KNOW no team will offer that. They are just holding his feet to the fire in order to force him to play under what he signed. This is just a show of authority.

I think Watson is one of the most exciting players in the league to watch but I honestly don’t think he’s consistent enough to take a team to a SB. I trust Dak more.

Would you say that Tom Brady was a better QB than Rodgers last Sunday?
