Did Stanford get a new 44m per year deal or something?Alright fellas Dak will make concession to stay around 41 million average per year and not go up to 45 million a year after the Stafford trade. The QB market is projected to go into 50 million after Watson trade and extension of Lamar & Allen by end of the year. Dak won Jerry and if you sign him he will reward the Dallas franchise with the 6th SB win.
You want a decent starting QB in the NFL you gotta pay big money it is what it is
Matt Stafford has all of 0 playoff wins and hes been paid big boy bucks because without him the Lions probably dont win 10 games over 10 years
Jay Cutler got paid as well in his day.....So has Kirk Cousins
Hi DakStephen Jones is that you?

He learned from listening to them when Zeke held out!I think Daks price went down. Goff, Wentz, Big Ben and Watson will all be considered bad contracts. Kudos to Jerry for not listening to the pay the man crowd.
From 2016 untill this year Dak was on a rookie contract and the Cowboys were in the playoffs twice with one win. If Dak gets 40 plus a year how does anyone think the Cowboys will get to the Superbowl. This team has bad contracts and underachieving players.Alright fellas Dak will make concession to stay around 41 million average per year and not go up to 45 million a year after the Stafford trade. That's one side of it.Is Dak being unreasonable? Booger & Son kicked this can down the road while other teams extended their QBs. Then they insisted on a 5th year last summer, ended up having him play on the tag, and now he has all the leverage because they don't have a Plan B.
Jerry and Stephen screwed the pooch, again. Color me not surprised.

So , if we trade Dak, does Dak Attack 09 go with him?
Jay Cutler has been out of the NFL since 2017. His last deal was for 5 mil with a possability of another 5 mil with incentives. Cousins, he's gonna be in Minni for another season and after that, I think he's gone. His cap hit in 2022 is 45 mil but if they cut him, they take a 10 mil hit, which an be spread over two years for 5 mil a year. This year, his cap hit is 31 which they can afford. Stafford's cap hit is 20 mil next year and 23 after that, probably less then that because some of that will be on the Lions.
I think what we are seeing now in the nFL is representing a change in business practice by the NFL. Teams are trying to get out from under these big expensive contracts.
JMO....
