In this scenario would you retain Prescott on a tag, and bench him out of principal or would you flat out cut ties? Inquiring minds must know. We’re talking about acquiring thee “Carson Wentz” after all.

Once Wentz arrived Prescott would scurry away like a cockroach.

Okay let's review

Good drafts - is there specifically one? Or are we basing this on them picking CeeDee? Hard to say given the what we drafted the year before.
Great QB - at best he's average and against decent defenses he is well below average.
Great WR's - yes, and we've seen all the titles the Detroit Lions have amassed with great WR's
Garretts gone - after a decade of mediocrity, do I still smell carrot?
Great edge rushers - Demarcus Lawrence is another mediocre player who puts up stats against bad teams and disappears against the good ones. That's been his MO and he should send part of his salary to the NY Giants who fortunately had a terrible offensive line the year Demarcus Lawrence was playing for his second contract. The other edge rusher who is addicted to weed and can't stay on the field.
Great OLine - you mean aging OLine.

To this we also have a RB who was handed a massive contract that he isn't living up to but hey that's just par for the course for a Dallas Jerry's player.

Goff was in the same trade and the Rams had to throw in 2 first rounders just to dump his salary and get Stafford.

Is Wentz closer to Stafford or Goff?

The easy answer IMO ........from a trade value perspective, it's Goff. Like Goff, Wentz's situation is marriage gone bad vs Stafford was bride many wanted. McVay wanted him so bad he was willing to overpay no matter what it cost. But talent-wise all three are similar IMO.

still think he'll get traded to the colts.
Could be.
You have to assume that whoever trades for him will be getting him at his lowest value so far in his career.
No idea how it'll turn out, but that dude needs a fresh start and a new lockerroom somewhere. I think he lost the respect in Philly, as well as his confidence.

You think Goff and Stafford have the same talent?

Well. You are consistently wrong.

You say Dak needs everything around him to be perfect to be successful, but then absolve Wentz for not having optimal things around him for his failure?
It's quite hilarious.

That sounds good and all but Wentz wasn't bad because of the team around him. You say Dak is not accurate, Wentz isc way worst. With no pressure and plenty of time Wentz still had over thrown balls and ones in the dirt. Had terrible decision making.

You aren't being consistent unless its your hate for Dak and love for worst QBs than him.
Yup. the guy literally says Dak needs things to be optimal but then uses that as an excuse for Wentz. Wentz threw like 4 picks last year with a clean pocket lol. Its not an excuse. Wentz has had multiple brain farts since his injury and has been one of the WORST quarterbacks in the NFL over the last year. Then again. This same person said that Kaaya and Beathard would be better than Mahomes and Watson in the pros. lol. Didnt Wentz have something like 17 turnovers in 2019? Or more?

He’s going to get traded. Someone will overpay for him like Rams did for stafford

Yep. Sadly, they'll probably get a bushel for him. Best way to do that is act like you are not willing to trade him.

still think he'll get traded to the colts.

Would make a ton of sense. And Indianapolis fits him so much better than Philly in terms of personality/culture.

I think Wentz is probably alright from a talent perspective. A good coach can help him recover physically/mechanically fairly quickly by building an offense around him more suited to his abilities. Reich would be the ideal guru to help get him back on track too. No doubt.

But the REAL question/challenge is where is the kid at mentally?! Reports from Philly paint him as "uncoachable" and "unlikeable" in the locker room. There are two sides to every story-- but if the kid's confidence is broken down-- the "Wentz recovery project" may be a longer process than most people think.

Yeah.. I guess I don't over react like typical fan does who rides the week to week rollercoaster.

Anyone that is a realist can look at that teams Oline injuries, WR problems, TE & RB injuries, and see they were going to struggle.

If Dak were in that situation you would make these excuses for him like you do with the defense now.

I'm consistent across the board because I have the ability to put my Cowboys Pom Pom's down.
I’m amazed at the lengths some fans will go to to discredit Dak but hype up trash like Wentz. It’s odd.

Yes, the Eagles are most likely getting a bunch of calls for Wentz. The issue right now with Wentz is his contract. If the Eagles were to agree to a trade and eat the accelerated bonus money, other teams would be interested. It also depends on the guaranteed money left on his contract and if there is offset language. Wentz has good value once he is separated from that toxic contract.

Goff had $43M guaranteed the next two years and the Lions picked it up in exchange for a future first and maybe more from the Rams.

Right now the issue is contract money and the cap likely going to $180M.
