Bet the Eagles get a truckload for Wentz.
If Wentz is moved, that deal will be on par with Stafford,,

Would make a ton of sense. And Indianapolis fits him so much better than Philly in terms of personality/culture.

I think Wentz is probably alright from a talent perspective. A good coach can help him recover physically/mechanically fairly quickly by building an offense around him more suited to his abilities. Reich would be the ideal guru to help get him back on track too. No doubt.

But the REAL question/challenge is where is the kid at mentally?! Reports from Philly paint him as "uncoachable" and "unlikeable" in the locker room. There are two sides to every story-- but if the kid's confidence is broken down-- the "Wentz recovery project" may be a longer process than most people think.

Bingo! Intangibles can be stubborn to fix

Really? What teams? Oooh, breaking news, Carson Wentz has interest from other teams in a trade.
In other news Dallas and Prescott are talking but haven't reached an agreement. Deshaun Watson wants out of Houston.
Thanks Ian. Would've never guessed.

Hoping it's the Lions with the best offer.

2000's they collected crappy wide receivers in the draft
2020's they can collect crappy QB's via trade.
The Lions got Goff in the Stafford trade.

In this scenario would you retain Prescott on a tag, and bench him out of principal or would you flat out cut ties? Inquiring minds must know. We’re talking about acquiring thee “Carson Wentz” after all.

I think Wentz will rebound in a big way. It just may not be in Philly.

I think both Wentz and Goff are better than the current perception of them is.
But that bar is fairly low right now.

He actually regressed a lot. He was consistently bad on plays we're he had good protection and open receivers. I think his previous scheme helped him a lot (also the reason Foles was successful). Reich, I believe, was the braintrust if that offense. once he left, everything slowly fell apart.
