I don't this is accurate for two reasons. First, outside of playing the teams own division twice, they rotate one division from each conference so that is 14 games. The other two games are based on the previous year's record where they placed in their division with one game from each conference. In this schedule shown here there are two teams, cardinals and vikings from the NFC that are not with a division the Cowboys are scheduled to play so one of those games have to be wrong.

Nope. Under the 16 game format there are only 4 AFC games. In this case, the AFC West. Arizona and Minnesota - 3rd place teams from the two NFC divisions we don't play - are correct.

The 17th game is a mystery to me.

I was unaware that they changed it to be both of the extra 2 games from the same conference back in 2015. Before it was one game from both conferences based on where they finished in their division the year before.

This should help you with the 17th game.

I saw a link on Facebook, I know a bad source, but someone in the comments shared another link supporting it. This can't be right....can it?

HOME...Giants, Eagles, Cardinals, Raiders, Washington, Broncos, Falcons, Panthers

AWAY....Buccaneers, Saints, Chargers, Chiefs, Vikings, Washington, Giants, Eagles

I double checked and it is accurate...wow
I see 6 road losses easily. at least 3 home losses.

yeah cowboys play 2 good divisions , and vikings and cards are the 2 extra SOS games.
Bad to play bucc's and KC away, but cowboys will lose those 2 even at home, so it isnt that bad that they are not home games.

Could be another 6-10 year lol.
What do you think record will be??
8-8 maybe 9-7

This is supposedly starting next year, the 17 game schedule.

The NFC East plays the AFC East. Dallas and New England finished 3rd so they'll face each other, but the location of the game is unknown.

Why is this a surprise to anyone? This information has been out there for a while. Do you "Cowboys" fans not keep up with this stuff?

The only game I would call unwinnable right now is KCC. So much will change between now and September that 'right now' is completely irrelevant.

Funny thing is there are teams on here that look very hard now that by this time next year will suck and vice versa.

look at SF this year....you just never know year over year - no point in getting worked up by next years schedule until we get through the offseason and into the first quarter...

Not looking too good! That washington defense is gonna give Dak problems and the Giants are getting better. Eagles couldn't be any worse. If Dak gets signed and the Cowboys fix the defense in the draft they might go 8-8.

My guess is anywhere between 4-12 and 6-10. But that is more of a result of what I think of the Cowboys than the schedule. The schedule just seals the deal.

I see where this has been out for some time now. Sorry if its already been posted. I was just shocked at the away schedule...
The way I see it is we might as well play the Chiefs, Saints and Bucs on the road. We’d prob lose anyway.

Having some of the lesser teams like Denver, LA, Car and Atl at home provides us a better chance to win those than on the road.

5-11 with Dak putting up great stats with dinky 7-yard passes to the sidelines but Zeke running out of steam in the third quarter. And, of course, us expecting high returns out of our 2 cornerback draft picks despite our lousy front four and anemic linebackers.

And we can start debating around mid-November as to whether to tank.
