What will Iggles get for Wentz

Most likely they get a non top 15 R1 pick and that's it.
Possibly with a backup QB thrown in.

I think Chicago and Indy make the most sense.

Philly is gonna try to up the ante but they have a hard date to complete deal before the Wentz roster bonus hits in early March.
I expect this done in about a week.
If it isn't then they are getting low ball offers and really not getting much.

NE would make a lot of sense but I'm sure Belichick would want to deal with a guy who's fallen to pressure.
And BB could end up with Jimmy G back.

First and a 2nd and possibly more.

If we had Wentz, we’d get a 3rd Rounder and 30 pack of Genny Cream Ale!

They aren't getting a first and a second (and maybe more). No way.

It's coming out now that the "hot" market was oversold and that the most likely teams like the Colts and Bears are in no rush given the Eagles are asking for way too much.

I read that too. The Eagles asking price is way too high and the Colts are not willing to pay it. Also the Bears are becoming increasingly frustrated with the Eagles demands. The Eagles have to do something as Wentz is owed a bonus on the 3rd day of start of the NFL season they said so teams can wait it out until the Eagles come to reality.

Albright said the Eagles were so ridiculous with their demand that teams that were interested didn't even bother counter offering because the Eagles were out in LF. I heard on the local Philly radio today that the Eagles are using the Goff-Stafford trade as the model here and they think Wentz is the Stafford in that trade when in reality, Wentz is probably the Goff in that trade and that's how the league views him.

That is what I am hearing also.

The Eagles haven't exactly done their best to maximize Wentz' value in their efforts to move him. At this point, I'd be surprised if they even get a first for him, largely because of the contract.

Wentz is untradeable. Which the Fleagals will soon find out. Huge contracts for subpar players don't trade well. Wentz hasn't been good for a good long while now.

They will be lucky if they get a 2nd for him and his contract.
I was thinking maybe a 4th, and that's if they can even get someone to take that contract off their hands.

It would be hilarious if it turns out that the Eagles have to give up a pick for someone to take him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And that is not out of the realm of possibility.

Eagles overplaying their Wentz card. This could end even worse than expected.

Yup...... the cat's out the bag now and they are NOT getting the offers they want. This speaks volumes considering at least TWO teams ( Bears and Colts) are desperate for a starter.

Key word is "asking". Just like Dak's contract demands, why wouldn't the Eagles ask for more than they will take? Think the Eagles will offer Wentz for the least they'll take? Leaving them no room to negotiate?

Doubt Jeffrey Lurie is that bad of a businessman...
