The negotiations have not gone well for the eagles.

everyone and their mother knows the eagles want to/have to move him at this point. The relationship is so broken. The other teams have a lot of leverage. Especially with that bonus coming up.

the other teams have all the power in the negotiation.

The guy is a spoiled locker room cancer who just lobbied to get the coach fired. Those players don't and won't ever respect him. AND he looks like he isnt even a good football player anymore with a huge contract.

I'd be surprised if a team wants that crap for 2 second round picks. I wouldn't.

Even if the relationship was healthy no one would trade more than a 2nd and some dirt for Wentz.

He’s not a top qb like Wilson Mahomes etc nor way above average like Watson and Dak

Only idiots like certain posters on this forum think he’s worth that.

Only QBs worth more than 2 1sts with no extra fluff are

Mahomes
Watson
Dak
Russel Wilson
Rodgers

Everyone else is either too old, expandable, or unproven

I would not include Dak in that group at the moment, primarily because he's coming off injury. If he were to hit the open market, I believe there are several teams that would be lining up to sign him, but to also trade two firsts for him when he missed almost the whole season, I can't see that.

Wentz played like pure trash last year. Not worth a 1st, McVay didn't want him either.
I'm thinking that Wentz is one of those QB's whose game is built purely around mobility. And when that mobility is hindered, he can't play.

It probably doesn't help his value when names like Watson, Wilson, Carr and possibly Dak are out there for trade options, not to mention a draft with 4-5 solid prospects

He could end up being kind of a draft-day wild card for one of the teams that misses out on those solid prospects. Watson, Wilson, Carr and Dak will probably be off the table by then.

I could see a team in the middle of the first desperate for a QB being willing to up the ante to a first during the draft. The question is who among those teams will still have a QB issue then.

Damn.......Colts and Bears don't even have starting QBs but so they both refuse to offer a 1st. Howie may have screwed this one up......the best he may be able to get 2022 conditional 1st.

It's probably a blessing in disguise as I think Wentz is still a good QB. Yes, had a poor season, but like us their line was a mess all season long.

That may be true. But for a qb to play as bad him makes you think. What change between this season and his sb one is the big question.
