There are a few teams later in the draft that need a QB.

Chicago
Indy
Washington
New England

Would you be willing to trade down to 19 with Washington so they can go up and get their QB if he falls to 10? And if so how much would you trade for?

I know mock drafts are normally goofy but we have seen some CRAZY trades over the years when a team is desperate to move up for a QB.

Almost every mock draft I do (from 3 different sites)....Trey Lance is sitting there at 10.

Only one of the sites I use allow for trades (without paying to upgrade).

They do not except every trade so there does seem to be some limitations as far as value goes.
However it seems like QB needy teams they will allow to trade for more if there is a QB there.

Some teams will only except trades of around 3-4 picks max.

However it seems Washington seems to be the team that will give up the most.

Again I know it is a mock draft scenario but they are willing to give up quite a bit.

So with the idea that you would get a good return on the trade, would you be ok to trade with Washington so they could come up and get Lance?

Just curious...and bored.

I’m willing to move down. We have maximum picks this year and can move up and down as we please. But that 12-19 range is sweet if we can still pick in the first and get another pick

Would be tough with Washington. I can’t imagine giving them Lance or any QB and he kicks our butt for multiple years

At 10 I’m just picking the best player
Later in more interested in going up to get “that guy” than trading down and hoping a guy is there
We have plenty of picks but we need great players
I’d rather leave the draft with 5-6 of the guys I want then using every pick and taking what’s there

I would do it. But I would make Washington pay a premium for it. I'm not giving them the same deal I would give other teams.

To move from 19 to 10 normally would cost a 2nd round pick. The nfc east tax they would have to pay would be another premium pick, either a 3rd in 2021 or a 2nd in 2022. They probably say no. I say, whatever, play Heineken at qb then.

If we trade with Washington, then I'm asking for a TON.

At least two first round picks, a second round pick.....and a starter on defense. That's my starting point. I'm sure they would counter, but I wouldn't want to give them the only piece they really need to become a contender without weakening them somewhat.

I think the level of prospect available from 10 to 19 will be minimal to negligible, so yes, I would trade down with Washington.

As far as return-10 (1300) For 19 (875), 51 (390), and 114 (66) puts us 31 in the green for the deal and would be a no brainer for me. 4 pick inside the top 51 is the way to go in this draft IMO. There’s depth but the high end talent is lacking

Yes without hesitation. Lance is the most overrated QB in the class and if WAS gave us a solid haul I’d ship it off to them in a heartbeat.

Agreed. We would be giving Washington possibly their franchise quarterback for the future. I'd need a lot to counter that. Maybe even give me Daron Payne or Jonathan Allen and your first. We're willing to possibly strengthen your offense if it strengthens our defense and weakens yours.

18-22 is a sweet spot for me as long as I’m getting good compensation

You guys need to watch the 49ers. They need a Qb.
This team has needed a QB for a long time. If there is a team to trade with its them.
We can move back to 12 and gain there 2nd for our comp 4 and 10th overall.
Thats a deal you make.

It's still too early to tell, which teams will be searching for a QB as there are several veterans who could be on the move:

-Watson, Wentz, Garoppolo, Darnold, maybe Matt Ryan.

Will there be any teams who miss out?

I wouldn't trade with Washington, but I would demand 2nd/3rd rd picks from either Chicago or Indy if they wanted to move up.

Depending on who we deaft i say alot of peeps are available. Js.
You trade back and get a OT Smith to the Bengals 2nd rounder .
Stop before you say anything cheap contract and worthy of a 2nd rounder.

If you stay and someone big falls to you QB take then think on moving dak.
If alot of big names fall to you then move back slowly gain as much high end collateral you can

Hell, I'd have no problem trading with Washington, for a price...... their 1st, defensive starter ( one of the DLinemen ) AND 2022 2nd.
