So a photo of him standing next to a woman says that his ankle is perfectly fine to stand up to the rigors of playing QB in the NFL after suffering a major ankle injury? I see, thanks for the great medical opinion.
No... a photo of him standing shows us that his rehab from a significant injury is obviously going well. There is nothing wrong with that. You know... being optimistic.

The FO bungled this from the beginning. We should have signed him in his 3rd year. Dak has improved every year since he came into the league as a passer. A smart FO would have seen that. Now to top that off, Dak also has an agent who is a complete asshat and who I despise. A similar situation is happening with my soccer team right now and our best players agent. Agents have WAY too much power, and all they really care about is their commission. They dont give a rats you know what about their client. And here we are.

I also dont think Dak cares about being franchised. I have a feeling the deal gets done before July 19. If not. He signs and we trade him. The problem is we need this sorted out before the draft, to know if we need too move up for a QB.

And also. There were people here. Genuinely happy about his injury. Said people are still calling him gimp, crybaby etc. One poster even has a picture of him crying as his signature. This place is disgusting at times.
There is no doubt the front office screwed this up and he should of been signed already. I dont know where this is going but it really reminds me of what happened with Kirk Cousins in Washington. The main difference is the injury complicates things to the point where even if Dallas wants to sign him to whatever Dak wants they must make sure he is ok and fully recovered and thats almost impossible to know without him actually playing games.

No wonder they haven't signed him. Better sign him to the tag that nets you 2 first rounders and trade up for Zach Wilson.

j/k.

One of the funniest things I've read over the past 4 months is people acting as if "the ankle won't heal and he won't be the same player." These people obviously have never seen the high tech ankle braces that are available to athletes. If there is even a hint of doubt about the stability of Dak's ankle they will design a custom fitted brace that will make that leg impervious to further damage and his career will continue unchecked. I had a teammate who suffered a broken/dislocated ankle in college after which he played with one of the old lace up ankle braces. He never had another ankle problem afterwards. He was a receiver. If those old low-tech braces could protect him 40 years ago my guess is the new technology will be able to do an even better job while being far less bulky and restrictive. Dak is a QB not a running back or receiver. He does not need to make drastic cuts on his ankles.. He just needs to be able to plant on it to step and throw. That will not be a problem no matter how bad people think his ankle might be damaged.

So your buddy had a compound ankle fracture and dislocation and he recovered that’s nice. I’ll never lose hope I guess all compound breaks are the same

No one has made any such claim. I will however stand by the assertion that medical science is waaaay better at fixing this sort of thing than it was 40 years ago. If it could get a kid back on the field with no ill effects in 1980 then surely it can get Dak back close to 100% now. And if it can't the technology of the braces will fill in whatever gap remains from surgery and rehab. I view it as a non-issue frankly.

One of the best ways to strengthen ankle and leg muscles is to run or walk in sand. Totally removes foot callouses as well.
but those sand fleas are horrible little creatures.

Interesting as it's a still frame photo showing him standing there but ok.

Only here can you find the best conspiratorial news. What's next, Dak was airlifted to that spot on the beach. Oh the subterfuge!

Dak's injuries are nothing compared to older guys who suffer the inevitability of low hanging testicles. Those are true ankle spankers. What no empathy?
