True but he’s a gamer. Samuel Jr. also ranked No. 26 and No. 14, respectively, the past two seasons in passes defended per game.

Both Quinn/McClay want their corners to possess elite length at the position, which Samuel doesn't have.

Falcons could go in several directions, QB, LT or even CB. Miami is not going to get DeVonta Smith if they trade past 6, if they want him, they are going to have to use the 3rd pick to get him. All indications, Eagles are moving ahead with Hurts as their QB, that is going to be a WR/TE.

The Cowboys aren't in the QB discussion. They weren't involved in the trade for Stafford nor have even contacting Houston about Watson.
I agree the Cowboys will keep Dak. I just think it would be smart to look at quarterback if one happens to fall to 10. The Eagles are not 100% in on Hurts and if Fields fell to 6 they would take him because frankly Justin is a better prospect. I keep hearing whispers that Mac Jones will go higher then the draft nicks believe. Davonte Smith weighs 175lbs and Jeremiah has him falling out of the top 10. That tells me he is hearing something from his connections. This draft will be wild.

I think Philly is 100% moving ahead with Hurts. I hear you about Smith's weight, but he went to the Senior Bowl just to talk to Miami. If Miami doesn't take him, he isn't going to last to 18, which is there next pick. Makes little sense to move up as this is a deep WR group.

I am so glad the Cowboys picked CeeDee last season. The top end receivers except for maybe Chase are small guys. We will see about the Eagles. People thought they would keep Wentz after firing the coach. Hurts really got exposed against our terrible defense. His accuracy is a concern.

All the smoke out there right now is the Eagles tied to Pitts and not in the market for one of those QB's. Hurts may of had a poor game, but the other contests he performed very well. I don't see him as a franchise guy, but they may think otherwise.

The Eagles are a wild card. They have bad contracts and an old roster. They could go several different ways. Last week cornerback was the choice for them. If they get a first for Wentz anything can happen.

Im not disagreeing. But just because you’re long doesn’t mean you can play. Look at guys like Chris Westry.

They used Dennard who is 5’11, 200, Oliver is 6’0, 210 and Terrell who is 6’1, 195. Samuel is 5’10, 185.

I'm not saying a player who is shorter cannot play, but the decision makers covet big/long corners. Until they take a smaller player, we have to assume these type of players aren't on their radar.

This is what I am afraid of. The Broncos need a CB and they pick in front of us. Farley might not get to us. If that happens then I think we should trade down if the trade is reasonable.
Broncos...
Demaryus vs dez, jeudy vs lamb, now farley vs surtain?

Personally in Quinn's scheme I actually think in 2nd Round the Safety from UCF Grant is better pick
If you can get him, he is going to be a very attractive player for many teams.
