QB play is at it's best....This alone should be enough for you to realize that maybe what you see isn't what you believe.
A) People throw for 4K like it’s nothing these days lol. Kids take QB reps and are individually trained at 3 or 4 times the amount that it used to be. Camps and 7v7 leagues have made QB and skill position training a competitive year-round achievement. This along with an increasing adoption of college and HS offensive principles have made good QB’s a lot more common than before. Yes rules have helped the offense, but again the initial conversation is how a younger audience enjoys a certain style of play. Rule changes only enhance that.

B) QB’s are as a whole much more athletic than in any QB era in history. Mobility and out of pocket playmaking ability is much more important now than ever, as well as much more exciting and fun to watch. Pocket passers were once the only standard for a franchise QB, now a prospect gets dinged if they are solely a pocket passer.

C) QB’s who are solid to good and capable of winning games are now considered “Bridge Quarterbacks”. Never in the history of the league have you been able to find multiple starter quality level QB’s in free agency. Guys like Bridgewater, Dalton, Fitzpatrick, Brisset and Rivers last year are guys who wouldn’t be on the market as easily in previous eras. Now we see QB’s being traded and moved more often. The obvious clear reason for this is because QB’s have become more plentiful, they aren’t as scarce as they once were.

D) 2020-2022 will be the re-up of franchise QB’s. There is a collision of older QB’s leaving teams and a burst of young prospects, which is why you see so many openings this season. There is a very significant chance that in the near future 27-30 teams will have a guy capable of playing well and winning games. Shoot, after the draft it will probably be there this season.

As the product gets worse and worse every year on the field, the NFL wants to charge more to watch it.

That sounds like a flawed business plan to me ..
Not if someone will pay it lol
Now for the networks I’d say it may not be smart but for the owners it’s smart
Heck if I could sell a nickel for a dime I’m a genius, the guy that paid was the idiot

I’m not being snarky but why would asking the broadcast partners to pay more impact fans? Maybe they can reduce ticket prices since the main revenue is TV. I know they won’t. I’m not sure why posters are trying to protect the TV networks, it’s called supply and demand. If they won’t pay it, the price will come down. If it’s a bidding war, the price will go up. CBS, Fox and NBC aren’t pushing back too much from what I have read. Pro Football is better than the trash they currently show and gets more eyes on their commercials

The broadcast partners include the Joneses, who are always more than willing to pass their expenses on to the fans. I know about supply and demand enough to know that those folks involved in paying more for their product to be televised are likely to pass that expense on to those receiving the product in question. I'm not trying to protect the TV networks. Protecting the fans, who are the ultimate benefactors of additional expenses is my consideration. The broadcast partners will be the ones demanding more money for their product in the final analysis. The benefactors getting the goodies are always the ones ultimately being charged for the additional expense. It's always the "little guy" who pays in the end. That's you and I, my friend.

I'm already close to dumping the NFL. The NFL needs to be careful about how it treats its fans. I bet I'm not the only one that feels the way I do.

You're not the only one but the thing about you "I'm almost outta here" fans is you never do it. You just threaten for show kinda like all those other folks who swore up and down they were done because of controversies. Drama queening. The NFL knows this which is why they basically said, "have at it." Did it hurt them? So everyone can hope-post that the NFL empire will fall all they want but it won't. And y'all will be right here posting after watching, green-eyed and all. Lol.

What an ignorant comment. Fans are bailing on the NFL by the thousands. Are you not aware of the diminished TV ratings in 2020? It's only going to get worse as long as the NFL caters to wokeness.

What do streaming mean? Again, you and your hope-posting can tell yourself whatever story you want to believe. If the NFL is so bad, why not join those who've left and put your money where your mouth is instead of the grandstanding? Some of you have been talking about being thisclose to leaving the NFL for years. Years. But still you persevere. Lol.

I'd rather rent space in your head at no cost to me. You are demonstrating it beautifully. LOL.

Please, pissant. You have no answer because you know it's true. See you next season and the season after that and after that when you tell us all that the NFL is really trying your patience and you might actually have to do something about it this time. Lol. Drama queens.

You want me to stay, you need me to stay, without me your pea brain has nothing rattling around in it giving you a sense of purpose. Without having me to kick around, your life would be so meaningless. You say I should leave, but it's just reverse psychology intended to make me stay. Good job but I have a feeling, despite your best efforts, it won't be enough to capture my interest during the 2021 season. Plus I don't think management here appreciates any members here trying to chase off any other members of this forum. It's bad form and bad business for the forum. It's a good way to get benched if you keep it up.

What are you even talking about? It sounds like you're trying to convince yourself of something but are confusing yourself. Lol. I'm telling you what I'm pretty sure of. That you WILL be here because you WON'T stop watching no matter how much virtuous saber-rattling you do. So you can make believe that the NFL should care what you think to pump your ego but they know they have your kind among their numbers, daring you to leave but knowing you won't. As I said, see you next and next and next season saying the same tired things.

We'll just have to wait and see. If this kissing up to wokeness continues next season, I'm not sticking around.

If tv ratings are down then there must be some fans that have walked away....

When was the last time a woke company, not an individual, ever apologized for their twisted and out of touch/untruthful perception on matters and stop catering to the radical portion of the social media mob? Probably never. They just double down, so I wouldn't hold your breath.
