It's my Christmas. Cant explain it really. Liking the draft more and more as the second contracts cap strap a lot of teams.

Find the young talent that can play...
Of course it is.

Being a Dallas fan has been all about the draft for quite some time now.

5 min a week reading on here because the success rate of mock drafts is fairly low so no point spending any more time on it. When they pick who they pick, then we can know the player at that point of time.

Other than here and watching a few mocks, I don't spend any time on it but I do spend an inordinate amount of time watching college football so I am familiar with the players from the Power 5's, especially the SEC and Big 12.

Not as much time as I used to now that I have two toddlers, but the draft has always been my favorite part of the off-season; been following since 1990.

I’ll watch videos if I haven’t seen the player that much watching games. That’s how I fell in love with Aaron Donald, Vita Vea, Bradlee Anae, and now Zavien Collins early on.

If anyone wants to watch Parsons just watch his last game he played in a year ago the Cotton Bowl. We are talking Roy Williams OU like as far as all over the field.

A few hours a week at night when the wife and kids are sleeping.

I used to breakdown All 22s and breakdown pros and cons.

This is one of the easiest years to know where Dallas goes. Surtain, Farley, Slater, Parsons and a small chance of Pitts

I can't get into it this year for some reason.

I check in here but it's just players that make no difference. Corners.. Tackles.. Linebackers.. All fine pieces but not difference making pieces and I just haven't had the urge to dive into these positions and evaluate these players.

I have no idea if I prefer Farley or Surtain.. I have no idea about the linebackers.

The only positions ive really dove into was the top tier QB's and I feel like I crushed the Lawrence > Fields debate but that was obvious W for me but along the way I started to see that Zach Wilson > Fields was a thing too and then that became a mainstream opinion.

I stuck by that opinion even after tOSU played Clemson as well.

Now.. I'm starting to think Lance has a chance to hop Fields also. I think Lance has more potential but it's a big gamble and Fields is definitely less risk. So it will be interesting to see if teams gamble on Lance or if they keep it safe with Fields.

If it's me? I'm probably shooting for the moon and taking Lance > Fields as well. Tough call though and I could still change my mind.

I am a draft nerd from back when you had spiral notebooks in pencil/pen and newspapers.
Like 2 dudes on radio would talk draft and you didn't miss the segments.

But as time passes I am more draft invested based solely on the Cowboys and solely on their draft ammo.
Picking 27th and I am not spending a ton of draft prep time.
This year badly needing to overhaul defense and having a ton of picks including 10 overall and I am watching a lot more guys.
Watching guys like LBs who are much harder to watch based off just youtube tape and cut ups. --Jabril Cox is really good off the ball playing in a drop and mark type zone coverage he is far better than LVE or Jaylon but not as good/physical going forward as they are.
