If Tampa Bay loses Goodwin in free agency, Cowboys should offer Gallup for Veta Vea.

I’d love it I just can’t see it happening. I don’t see tampa being very eager to move Vea. The FA class is pretty strong at WR and teams have been able to hit in the draft more often than not at the position. No need to move a stud defender to obtain a receiver these days.

The difficulty is that Tampa won't exactly be hurting at WR even if Goodwin left - Evans and Brown will still be there. Plus I believe it's supposed to be a deep draft for WRs.

Thought brown was on a 1 year deal?

You're probably right. They may have have wanted to see if he would be a good citizen before working on a longer deal. My guess is they will work something out with Brown if they don't win Goodwin.

No chance... They still have Evans, and more than likely will keep Brown, with Scotty Miller in the slot, they need another WR less than they need a potential stud DT.

not bad thinking. but would tampa do it? gallup is in the last year of his contract. why would tampa do it?

but hypothetically speaking, if that happens, and perhaps Pitts might be a good pick at 10....
