David talks too much....especially for a player who has done anything.

They bent over backwards for him and gave him an opportunity to display his skill.

Whatever he is upset about he should keep it private because they did a lot for him.
Agreed. Irving is about as fake as they come

Irving literally refused to come to the facility to rehab his injury (this was all while the team was making a push for the playoffs) and had missed a large portion of training camp because "uhh I was having baby mamma drama". Dude then runs his mouth the next off-season about how he hates football and how he's done

Now he's back (probably out of money) and is trying to spin the narrative as "uhhh no it was the cowboys that i didn't like, football is okay"

To be fair he's in no position to talk about playing for a corny organization when he's currently playing for John Gruden, Rod marinelli, and Mark Davis.......

No surprise here for a couple of reasons.

1) He's talented, but never really had a passion for the gridiron. Being under a microscope in a state that loves football probably didn't work for him.

2) Jason Garrett was a boy Scout, coaching style didn't mesh with him. Garrett was all about professionalism and there were probably some less than stellar conversations about attendence being the cornerstone of that.

Dodged a bullit there.

I guess the thought of flippin burgers stoned got old. The Cowboys gave you a chance and you blame them for your problems. My bet is, they're not going to be the last team you let down. Good luck to ya.

And I like your quote Garrett told you to just go smoke all the pot you want because the Cowboys don't need you. Like that really happened.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
KC made the smart evaluation in determining that his immaturity and lack of work ethic outweighed his talent.

Thats why they go to super bowls and we don't.

Jon Gruden isnt corny at all to me. He's not a pushover and never was unlike Coward Garrett and fat Garrett. Jon told Al davis to get the F off his field. If thats corny what are Jason and MM? like theyd ever speak up to jerry lol

It’s my favorite team but I sure as hell wouldn’t want to play for them now or anytime since they hired Barry Switzer, that’s when the writing was on the wall of how things would be.

Let me clarify, if I was a superstar who didn’t care about winning and myself nor teammates being held accountable for our behavior then I WOULD want to play here.

I'd take Gruden in a second here over the crap we've been seeing,
