That’s the exact question our crack scouting staff should figure out how to answer before they draft the next Hill.

Hill came in year 2 and impressed every vet on the line. I'll take that from a 2nd round pick

Swap Trysten Hill for him. That's just about the only move that makes any sense.

I've met people that haven't said a word to me and I still didn't like them. Some people just don't get along naturally. And when your not fond of someone the things you say about them won't be very positive.

So when you stories about this person or that person just know that information maybe tainted by personal feelings.

But aren't they all young immature pups when drafted?
We forget that these young drafted players are so very young,, we are spoiled that we draft players so mature beyond their age like Tyron Smith.
Yet fans are so over eager to rid themselves of such talent.
Makes you wonder who is really immature.
Dont take this as directed @stilltheguru, I only responded to your post in agreement, and went off on my usual tangent, nothing negative intended.
Like you wanting to get rid of our best player and franchise qb?

The Titans took Isaah Wilson with the 29th overall pick in the 2020 draft. He's a complete knucklehead and didn't play. They are moving toward a divorce. GM called him out and he says he's done with the Titans. I'd normally say they wouldn't cut bait yet but the GM just called him out. This is the ultimate Jerry move. I'd offer our extra 4th and hook this guy up with Rob Davis - this is literally why Davis is on staff!

Wilson got some money and his immaturity really showed but at 6'7" 340 he projects as a smothering RT, a decent LT, and an intriguing G prospect. I'd definitely move a few of those supplemental picks for this guy.

He's tainted. Once a raider, always a thug.

Wilson was the 29th overall selection in April's draft but played only four snaps in his rookie season, which culminated in him being placed on the non-football injury list in December. Before that, Wilson found himself on the reserve/COVID-19 list twice last year, during training camp and in October.

The rookie right tackle also had a couple of run-ins with the law. The first incident came when Tennessee State University police broke up an off-campus party that Wilson had attended during training camp. In their report, the police documented that Wilson went to the second-floor balcony, where he appeared to briefly consider jumping. He received a trespass warning.

The second incident occurred when Wilson was arrested and charged with a DUI in September when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a concrete wall.

Talk about a terrible start/look for his rookie year.

Fans might not like it but the Cowboys love Steele and Knight. An offseason in the weight room and another season with the coaching staff I believe the Cowboys think they have their future/swing tackles. Nothing makes a front office feel better then developing free agent talent but most importantly they are cheap.
