We have the most fans numbers wise. It’s pretty reasonable to conclude, from that, that we have the largest amount of fans that no nothing about good QBs, acquiring them, nor their importance.

I think a player needs a little bit larger sample size before people start claiming they're on their way to shattering a record. He played in five games. Let's reel it in just a little, lol

Edit: I just realized how old and deep (that's what she said) this thread is and this has probably been said 15 times by now. 10 by Risen.

..... shattering a meaningless stat that does not equate to wins.

Oh I went to the NFL article in question. That the OP seriously misquoted.

The ranking was for the QB’s 2020 season. In which Dak only played 4.5 games.

not the QB’s overall ranking amongst starting QB

So even the article itself doesn’t say Dak is the 16th best QB in the league. Which the OP neglected to mention or just flat out chose not to.

Watson at 4 immediately disqualifies the article. Herbert at 9 makes the article comical. Murray, Jackson, Tannehill, Cousins, Carr and Mayfield are not better than Dak. Anyone watch the Baltimore playoff game? Jackson is amazingly overrated. Watson is better than Wilson. Please. This may be the dumbest QB article I have ever read. Pure comedy.

One of the funniest thing about people assigning gospel status to this ranking is they are the same people who whine about our won-loss record with Dak over the last couple of years.. Meanwhile they rank Murray and Herbert neither of whom has never had a winning record ahead of Dak.. They claim Dak is nothing without Zeke being dominant but are fine with Tannehill winning games while throwing for 150 yards while handing off the Henry but flaming out spectacularly when Henry is stopped. Then there is Watson and his team's pathetic record that conveniently gets ignored. His team went 4-12 but HIS numbers are legitimate but Dak's numbers are "empty calories." Every one of these stupid lists come with an agenda. Which is why I don't pay any attention to them. As I am fond of saying, I don't need some "expert" to tell me when a guy is playing good football. I can watch the game and see for myself.

Fans come in all ages. Many just want their favorite team to win & could care less about any knowledge of the game. One should never show criticism towards that.

Great. I’ll sleep better tonight.

Defense wins Super Bowls , offense win season tickets and ratings . Did you forget the history of this game ? Did you watch the high flying offense of Patrick mahomes get embarrassed by a dominating defense and of course a balanced offense .
I never said cowboys should over pay . You have a habit of inserting words ! But the cowboys are built on the offensive side . Everyone knows it . Don’t you Too ?
The next money focus should be on the defense . We are tired of flashy offense and stats and no super bowl or CCG for 25 years now . !

if you build a defense through FA you will over pay. that's what I said....you are going to overpay for FAs that hit the market and worth it....the rest are old, injured, head cases dumped by their former teams. am I saying never sign a FA? no, that's not what I am saying, you build your core through draft. then sign some key FAs here and there to fill the gaps....until we draft well defensively, this is the team we got. teams that draft well, find the players that are impactful, then keep them, ala Jones in KC. the problem is we haven't drafted anyone defensively to want to pay and keep any of them, outside of Lawrence.....

if you read any of my other posts, you would have known that I agree with you, we are build offensively, why? all through the draft and one key player signed who wasn't drafted by us....in past 15 years we have had Dez, Dak, Tyron, Gallup, CD, Fredrick, Martin, Collins (UDFA), Zeke, and big contributors like Schultz, Jarwin (UDFA), Pollard, Biadasz all come to us through the draft...and we decided to pay and keep some of them.. on defense, same period 15 years, 44 picks, only Lawrence was an impactful player that we decided to pay and keep...we paid Jaylon and that was a mistake. we haven't had anybody else drafted or UDFA on defense that we wanted to pay and keep.....until we fix that....the only thing we have is offense. given we need 7 or 8 new starters, you can't fix it via FA....
