That mattered? OK, I give....name some....hell, name one!

I avoided "that part" of the question because it is pointless to me. It comes down to is Dak worth it. To me, no, he's not worth the kind of money the market dictates, and not if we want to win a Super Bowl. With/without him, we may still never win a SB with our FO. Dak will have good games, he'll have bad games, but he won't carry this team by himself, and unless we can manage to pay him AND actually roll our sleeves up to build this team through other means besides the draft, it ain't happening. That means having enough money to go outside the bargain bin in FA. And part of this mess doesn't even have to do with Dak, but abysmal contracts already dished out by Daddy and Son.

EDIT: This is, of course, working under the assumption that Dak is even at the same level he left off at following snapping his leg.
you avoided, because it doesn't fit your agenda given you will find the same thing for all those other QBs I named?

and to your point, is he worth it...you say no. many say yes. and 50 FO personnel said he is a top 10 QB. I assume, perhaps, they know a little more than fanzone members about football. and the market for top 10 QBs is where it is.

and the problem as you said its the FO, and the specific problem with this FO is they can't draft defense. as mentioned, 15 years, 44 picks. one impact player, namely Lawrence, that we resigned......

building a team through other means, never led to success. your core has to come through draft. you fill the gaps with FAs...you can not build through FA, if you complain about Dak and his FA contract, then the same goes for all other FAs worth their dollar!!! all FA are often over priced, specially the really good ones, because most teams tend to keep their own top FA, ala we did the same.

we have 7 of the top 5 largest positional contracts given out to Tyron, Collins, Jaylon, Martin, Cooper, Zeke, Lawrence....so we had had room to hand out big contracts and we had Dak's FA contract last year....how many more large contracts do we want to have?. of those, Jaylon should have never recieved one. we should have let him walk, for that type of money you want a difference maker, and he is not one. We paid Zeke, 2 years before his contract ended, we should have never done that, and let him walk, RBs are easy to find and many teams do it by RB group. and I was opposed to handing Martin a large contract. Love the guy, he is probably a future HOFer, but you don't go to superbowls because you have the best guard in the game, no one remembers the name of the 8 guards that played in the championship game in 2020 or 2019, 0r 2018 unless they google it.....

so yes, I agree, this FO has made few mistakes in personnel management.

What "agenda" are you talking about? You mean, my opinion that Dak isn't good enough to warrant top dollar? If that's an "agenda", then...okay. And all QBs are not exclusive. If I complain about Dak and his FA contract, it's not the same as other QBs worth their dollar, because in my humble opinion, Dak is NOT worth top dollar. This is the point. Also, once again, those other QBs aren't coming off a snapped leg.

can you be more dramatic. where you or are you part of your highschool drama club!!! snapped his leg. he had a broken ankle and is walking and rehabbing already. its not as if other players haven't had leg injuries or did you forget Alex Smith, literally snap his leg as you just said.

and Dak is rated as a top 10 QB in this league, not by fanzone members, like yourself, but 50 FO personnel....like I said, they know a thing or two more than you and I. and I don't set the market, the NFL Market for QBs does. three years ago wilson got a 35M contract and followed by Wentz and Goff at around 33. Watson just got a 40M contract and Mahomes an unprecedented 10 year 50M contract....so the market is about 40M for players like Dak and Watson.

and like I said and you admited eventually, Dak has had good games, and bad games, guess what just like all other QBs.... and he has had to over come incompetence of Garrett, Linehan and deal with a first year OC in Moore and the dysfunctional state of the cowboys......

I hope they sign him long term so maybe Catch 17 and Pappy pup will shut up for awhile....
I dont want either of them to ever shut up, and I enjoy the conversation, I dont want you to shut up, the debates keep me from cleaning my garage, and that is physical labor.
Most here want me to shut up, but I refuse... :D

So snapped his leg is too dramatic for you? Do you need me to make light of it to strengthen your own "agenda"? Okay...he twisted his ankle...he's fine and will have no issues relating to playing football from said minor injury. And I never said Dak didn't have good games and bad games. I simply said he isn't good enough for this team to break the bank on. You are right, the market does suggest Dak will make a fortune, snapped leg or twisted ankle, but let some other team take that risk. And regarding our 50 FO personnel...after 26 years and counting of utter incompetence and failure, I'd just about trust 50 fanzone members over Jerry and Co.

Sorry to tell you, that I'm not the one bragging about games he's won that "mattered".....I don't call wins against only bottom feeders games that "matter" when it doesn't even result in sneaking into the playoffs.
