-Voch and Cavanaugh both seem to think of his as a pass rushing 1T right now. Seem to think he is kind of a tweener
- Cavanaugh makes a point that Barmore is a guy thay blew up VS the top competition
-Voch says for this team, he isnt going to be a guy thats really going to help you not give up 200+ and 4 TD's in a game. He is going to be a guy to help you pressure the QB
- They bring up Jonathan Allen. Baremore isnt that caliber player that is going force himself on the field every down on a loaded Bama squad.
-Cavanaugh says its a floor/ceiling thing with Barmore. Might be the 50th best player in the draft right now, but the 20th best prospect

Good breakdown!

I just can’t reach on him at 10.

Worth noting Barmore is only 20 right now. He will be 21 by opening day. I think he is going to be a riser just because of his upside. He isnt a good run defender right, but he will be.

Right now he isn't among my top choices at 10, but I wouldn't lose my **** over ot either. I think he can be a Muhammad Wilkerson like player in the NFL. I think thats what his upside is.

Give me McNeill and Tufele over him.

Wilkerson was a beast. Before he got weird, he was a top 5 interior D player. If Barmore is really that good, he's an easy value at 10.

This is one of the reasons I'd Love to have him at 10. Remember when we got Tyron Smith when he was 20, and he became an anchor at LT and started us on fixing the oline? Barrmore would be a great place to start at fixing our dline. Especially at DT where we need the most help.

I’d consider Barmore in a ‘trade back’ scenario, but def not at 10. Too many other guys I like better than Barmore in the 1st. Plus, there’s other tackles I believe are in the same class as Barmore that can be had a round or two later.

Where I think they really compare is that Wilkerson was a person you could line all over the DL, from a 1 gap all the way to a 5 and he could exploit mismatches and cause havoc. I think Barmore has that type of ability. He is still an upside, but I'm fine taking him because he will still be a quality contributor in 2021. I do think you would have to augment him in FA or the draft with a stout run defender

Tyron was considered overdrafted and bad value when we took him.

He’d be a perfect prospect to take a swing at in the back half of R1.

Top 10 is bit rich for me on a guy with limited history. I’d also be wary of overvaluing a DT in this draft as there are no clear blue-chip prospects. I do think this year’s draft is loaded with R2-3 type DT prospects.

I recall that, yet, he turned out to be one of the best players in that draft. I think Barmore could be the same way, and he'd fit a huge need we have at DT.
