1. Jacksonville - Trevor Lawrence QB Clemson
2. Atlanta (N.Y. Jets) - Zach Wilson QB BYU *TRADE
3. Miami (Houston) - DeVonte Smith WR Alabama
4. N.Y. Jets (Atlanta) - Kyle Pitts TE Florida *TRADE
5. Cincinnati - Penei Sewell T Oregon
6. Philadelphia - Ja'Marr Chase WR LSU
7. San Francisco (Detroit) - Justin Fields QB Ohio St. *TRADE
8. Carolina - Mac Jones QB Alabama
9. New England (Denver) - Trey Lance QB North Dakota St. *TRADE

10. Dallas - Patrick Surtain II CB Alabama
I was down to offensive line or cornerback for Dallas, and with Chidobe Awuzie and Jourdan Lewis likely to leave in free agency, I see corner as the bigger need. The Cowboys were terrible on defense last season, and new coordinator Dan Quinn has a ways to go to turn it around. Surtain on one side with former Alabama teammate Trevon Diggs on the other is a great way to start. The Dak Prescott decision looms large on the Cowboys' offseason, but I expect him to get franchise tagged or sign a long-term deal.

11. N.Y. Giants - Jaylen Waddle WR Alabama
12. Detroit (San Francisco) - Micah Parsons LB Penn St. *TRADE
13. L.A. Chargers - Rashawn Slater OL Northwestern
14. Minnesota - Alijah Vera-Tucker T/G USC
15. Denver (New England) - Caleb Farley CB Virginia Tech *TRADE
16. Arizona - Jaycee Horn CB South Carolina
17. Las Vegas - Trevor Moehrig S TCU
18. Miami - Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah LB Notre Dame
19. Washington - Christian Darrisaw T Virginia Tech
20. Chicago - Kadarius Toney WR Florida
21. Indianapolis - Gregory Rousseau DE Miami
22. Tennessee - Jaelan Phillips DE Miami
23. N.Y. Jets (Seattle) - Kwity Paye DE Michigan

Mac Jones ahead of Lance? Not sure I like that.

IMO.. Mac Jones is far better at progressing through his reads than Fields or Lance but I still have to take Fields and Lance on potential upside.

I think Jones is the 5th QB in this draft and the debate should be Fields or Lance.. JMO.

The more Mac Jones I watch the less excited I get about him like I was earlier in the season. I guess i'm too hung up on mobility and upside.

My 2 cents.....and really, that's all its worth

1. Jacksonville - Trevor Lawrence QB Clemson......Of course
2. Atlanta (N.Y. Jets) - Zach Wilson QB BYU *TRADE.......Lot of cap to eat on Ryan, plus this will cost a ton just to move up 2 spots. But if you love him, go get him
3. Miami (Houston) - DeVonte Smith WR Alabama....with 2-3 great WRs, I would for sure trade down here
4. N.Y. Jets (Atlanta) - Kyle Pitts TE Florida *TRADE.....If staying with Darnold to see what he has, smart to trade down...this adds a 2022 1st or a 2021 2nd and 3rd just to drop 2 spots at top of draft.
5. Cincinnati - Penei Sewell T Oregon.....Bengals are ecstatic with this. Burrows says thank you
6. Philadelphia - Ja'Marr Chase WR LSU.....tough to pass on Fields, but if rolling with Hurts, Chase is a great fit in Philly
7. San Francisco (Detroit) - Justin Fields QB Ohio St. *TRADE....if going away from Jimmy G, then this is a great move..imo
8. Carolina - Mac Jones QB Alabama...seems like a reach, but Panther coach loves Mac and coached him in Sr Bowl
9. New England (Denver) - Trey Lance QB North Dakota St. *TRADE.....seems like a reach, but there's upside. whatever.

10. Dallas - Patrick Surtain II CB Alabama...unless they LOVE Surtain more than Farly, Parsons, or Slater, I'm trying to trade down here. Still get one of them plus a 2nd rounder, or at worst a 3rd.

11. N.Y. Giants - Jaylen Waddle WR Alabama....makes sense, but may want oline
12. Detroit (San Francisco) - Micah Parsons LB Penn St. *TRADE...LB a huge need, so they would thrilled to get all those extra picks AND get the best LB.
13. L.A. Chargers - Rashawn Slater OL Northwestern....yes. Big need and fit
14. Minnesota - Alijah Vera-Tucker T/G USC.....hmmmm? reach?? would trade down for sure , but whatever
15. Denver (New England) - Caleb Farley CB Virginia Tech *TRADE.....Denver gets value and extra picks....not bad
16. Arizona - Jaycee Horn CB South Carolina
17. Las Vegas - Trevor Moehrig S TCU
18. Miami - Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah LB Notre Dame

If I’m on the board and Slater, Parsons, Farley and Surtain are on the board? I’m aggressively moving down a few picks and getting one of the guys I want still.

I love Surtain and have been on his bandwagon all season. But watching Voch breakdown his films makes me worried to take him over the more athletic Farley

That would be sweet, we can pick any defensive player in the draft.

Surtain to Dallas makes a ton of sense on every level.
But it's hardly the only move.

Trading down here is definitely an option for me at least.

My targets at 10 in no particular order:
Sewell, Slater, Farley, Surtain.
You'd need to really study these 4 imho as they fall to short list on basic examination of film/cut ups we have as laymen.
Medicals, character, love of football?

If all 4 check those boxes I'm trading down to add value.
With the caveat I'd want to end up with more top 75 guys using my day 3 picks as fodder to rise.

BTW this mock falls abuot as well for Dallas as anyone could ever hope imho.
5 QBs before Dallas?? yessir lettttssss go.
Eh. Would be better if there's a QB there so you can trade down. Unless they're going to go Waddle, you aren't getting a better prospect here at 10 than you would at 14-15

Another year where our fans love the idea of all the top QB prospects going before we pick while we have no QB.

I kind of agree. Mac Jones should be a mid to late first off talent alone. He only goes top 10 out of desperation by a team. IMO

In this scenario, I'd love a small trade down. We have Slater, Surtain, Parsons, Farley all on the board. And some pretty decent next tier guys like Horn, JOK, Moehrig, Barmore, and Darrisaw.

Obviously that requires a partner. So if stuck, I'd probably go Surtain as well. Would think long about Parsons, but the maturity issues need to be resolved

Agree.
You have a chance to get two of the guys in your post if you trade down, then combine the extra picks with our 2nd to move back up.
Would have to be a bit lucky to pull it off.

Looking at past years, teams trade a ton between pick 10 and 32 in the 1st round.....and it does not at all have to be for a QB

Hope like Hell this is the case because Patrick Surtain should be a Cowboy.

Jets probably need to replace 15 of 22 starters.

Not sure I start with at tight end at 4 overall.

I've never seen 5 QBs go in the top 10. So, I'm thinking this scenario is unlikely. I think that NE trade is more likely with Dallas than Denver b/c Belechek knows he can make a more favorable deal with our dunce GM. Jerry would probably swap 1st round picks with NE for a conditional 4th.
