Do you actually watch Cowboys games? Honestly.

What Dak was doing the first 5 weeks is exactly what people would hope Russ would come here and do.

I know you aren't going to agree with anything other than "Dak sucks," but you have absolutely 0 credibility.
Not only do I watch Cowboys games but also watch Seahawks games.
It's very easy to spot the difference between the two QBs.
Anyone with basic football knowledge can spot it.
Dak doesn't suck but he's no Wilson.

the price is supposedly three firsts....but perhaps they won't get that, but 2 firsts and additional picks....that's a lot to pay...and even if he comes to Dallas, we don't have the defense and he ends up same as he is in Seattle....make the playoffs and lose because hte defense sucks so bad.......we need those 1st round picks to draft defense and build the defense....
Wilson is a good QB, but he's simply not the savior some are making him out to be.

K tell me what it is then. What's the actual, tangible difference between the two.

Surely the Seahawks would take a straight up trade of Dak for Wilson. The ‘church of Dak’ worshippers here have been preaching how good Dak is and his leg is ahead of schedule and will be better than before.

Or is Dak so good the Seahawks will have to add Metcalf to sweeten the pot?

The Seahawks might be the worst run team in football. Wilson has been saving them for years.

They've hit on 1 first-round pick since 2013, and that player is Germain Ifedi. The problem isn't, and has never been Wilson's contract, it's the fact that they can't draft.

Exactly 100%.

Wilson is the only reason they’ve been a perennial playoff contender. They would be bottom feeders without him.

Russell is a bit better of a playmaker, and he is better than Dak, but not by some huge margin. Neither is worth what they want in salary.

Plus, Russell got what he wanted in salary, and now is incessantly complaining. He's starting to sound like a really stupid dude.

Wilson is a good QB, but he's simply not the savior some are making him out to be.
The only thing that really separates him from the other QB's is that "bucket ball'. He's mastered that deep drop in but you give any QB that beast Metcalfe and he's going to do well.

Wilson can do more with less talent than Dak can do with superior talent.
Seattle typically has a much better defense than the Cowboys and that's carried them a long way but Wilson effectively runs that offense very well.

I wouldn’t give them anything but Dak in a trade.

Dak for Wilson straight up.

maybe throw in a 2nd or 3rd. No more.
that makes sense to me.....lets not forget Wilson is about to turn 32. and I like wilson, don't get me wrong. he is good, better than Dak, but without that vaunted defense he hasn't been able to accomplish much and is 1-3 in the playoffs. I give it to him though, he does get to the playoffs and they have a good head coach.

Do you think Dak could do what Wilson was doing in Seattle?

There are levels here and Wilson is on another one compared to Dak.

Yes, our defense would still be trash, but Wilson may not allow us to go down by 3 TDs while going 3 and out early in games, making the opponents defense play soft and forcing us to pass 95% percent of the rest of the game to even have a chance. Dak put up crazy numbers, but he wouldn't have put those up if he would've been able to do things early in games as opposed to late when the defense starts playing softer because they were able to score points while we went 3 and out over and over to start games.

I understand shock value but this is ridiculous.
He really would though. Seahawks struggled last year because of their defense....then the defense got better and then Russ got bad. People need to really look into what Russ did last year. I think we all remember the MVP Russ. I know I do I thought it was the best QB in the league the first few weeks...then it got bad.

And that's what I try to tell people that say that these big contracts from QB's are messing up teams. Its really not. I don't know if there's a correlation to teams who pay QB's go all in and just make stupid moves or what.....but Rams have made some poor moves. Eagles for sure have. Falcons.....these teams not only draft poor but make some insane trades to make up for drafting poor. That's a recipe for disaster.

This is a fallacy though. Look at the cowboys splits in points scored in the first half and second half.

the cowboys scored a good amount of points in the first half of games. Especially compared to the rest of the league.

it’s a fallacy that they didn’t score early in games.

they were behind because the defense was literally on pace to the the worst in NFL history

I agree with some of your points but I have a hard time judging Dak the beginning of last year. We were horrible in the first half and fell behind early. Then Dak would go nuts against soft D set ups with some nice comebacks. As I’ve repeated many times I like Dak and have stayed neutral. I’m just not sure how to judge those games.

Wilson already has sick WRs and a nice RB, while I consider him an upgrade I don't believe it would be a monumental difference. Then again I don't under rate Dak.
