Yes. He was awful the second half of last year.
He almost looked bored, or uninspired....or something like that.

Maybe the whole situation has run its course.

He can still play. Change of scenery would help.

He would be perfect in Dallas right now, but not gonna happen by a longshot.

If I were the Colts I would have done everything plus some to get him, but also not gonna happen.

The cowboys fell so far behind because the defense was on pace to be the worst in nfl history not because the offense couldn’t score points
I am sure the turnovers and turning the ball over on downs didn’t help the defense

Few if any teams have a higher profile than the Cowboys.
Just saying, Dallas was not on that list.

They may also be picking actual cities.
New York , Miami, Las Vegas, New Orleans (maybe town and team's loaded roster)

Glad not to see any NFC East teams on that list. The Cowboys do not need a mobile QB in their division.
With Hurts in Philly there is a mobile QB in the division. Fortunately Hurts isn't the same quality as a passer that Wilson is.

Wilson is in no way elite at all. His only success in this league came when he had one of the best defenses the league has ever seen. His defense saved him so many times in the playoffs. What has he did since he became the focal point and that defense went away? Nothing at all. In fact, Dak schooled him head to head in the playoffs. Russell always gets this early season hype and then falls off, limps into the playoffs and fizzles out quickly.

Russell would not elevate this team at all. Heck, even the worse defenses he had later in his career are light years better than ours that Dak played with.

Russell barely squeaked out a win against the Eagles no name backup last year in the wild card round and this year, his offense looked like junk and he lost to a gimpy Goff who the Rams did not even want any longer.

Yeah, that screams elite. If you want to say he was elite for those 2 or 3 years early in his career, I guess. But he is in no way elite right now. In fact, I only see 2 elite QBs at this moment. Brady and Mahomes. Unless you throw the word elite around to anyone out there.

I 100% agree that his early success came mostly because of defense but I don't know how you can watch him play since about 2017 and come to the conclusion that he isn't an elite QB.

The guy is very difficult to stop and he has been the only thing making Seattle relevant.

Agree. I feel like with the Oline, the horrible D etc that we would start games sloppy, with some turnovers and then settle in later. I just haven’t wrapped my head around if that’s the upside of Dak or based on circumstances. He did keep the the pedal to the metal though which is one of the things I love about Dak.
I think a lot of the sloppiness early on, fumbling specifically, is just random.

Dak, like Tony was, gets better as the game goes on, so it's easy to sort of nitpick his game that way. But there's nothing he can do about the fumbles.

I can't see how this makes sense after the Adams deal.

I don't know the specifics, but Seattle needs to do whatever they can to keep this guy.
Adam's wint stay depending on what QB they end up with if this happens

I wouldn't be shocked at all if he went to San Francisco.

Do it, Jerry.

Somehow sign and trade Dak and add whatever draft picks are needed to get this done.

Could you imagine what Wilson would look like with all these weapons around him?

No thanks. A (hopefully healthy) younger Dak > Wilson.

I am sure they are looking for a trade partner with an early pick and not looking for something like a Dak/Wilson trade where they have to pay a guy 35-40 million again.

Some teams have learned that lesson and some are learning it and some will learn it later.

Wilson is better than Dak but not hugely so.

By the way anyone saying Wilson is not in the argument as the best QB in the NFL is a fool and should be ignored. Even Mahoones came down to earth when his O line disintegrated and he faced an elite D line.

I have a feeling that ever since that IDIOTIC call in the SB by Carrol that Wilson has felt dissatisfied there.

The math doesn’t add up on those claims. Even if the Saints were somehow able to accomplish every single one of them.

A nice fan article however.

Lots of "could" in that article, as well as lots of extensions, which in of themselves would put the Saints even more in a win now mode.

Glad I'm not a Saints fan, they have a big job ahead of them....
