They are clueless when it comes to actual football.

If you want to applaud it then by all means go ahead.

I'd rather be the team winning the Superbowl on our QB's rookie contract in the 1st 5 years then putting 1 wildcard win in 5 years on a pedestal.

We aren’t winning Super Bowls here anymore with Jethro. The sooner you accept that reality can you begin adjusting expectations.

Oh i've accepted what they will do.. They will sign Dak and remain status quo.

It’s the right move only because of this dysfunctional organization.

Dak has ample around him on offense. That’s why you sign him.

I'd rather be terrible and get the shot at drafting a guy like Trevor Lawrence then being stuck with Dak and never having a shot.

w/Dak at QB: 2 Wins 3 Losses .400 Win %

without Dak at QB: 4 Wins 7 Losses .364 Win %

So pretty much a 1/2 game win difference with Dak at QB versus without him......yeah, give him $40M/year as that 1/2 game means everything LOL

Those are overall team results. 90% of those losses were on the Defense. As per the Offense, the opening post's stats don't lie: this Offense and its weapons play so much better (among the very top in the league) when Dak is their QB instead of someone else.

Fix the Defense...and the wins will come.

I do agree with you, though, that Dak is not worth paying $40+ million / season for various reasons...mostly how it would directly hurt the team from building a better Defense.
