It's the most important position in Quinn's scheme, let's see if he jumps on the table for one.

Defensively this team needs work everywhere. DT and Safety are right at the top of the list. I’m hopeful that the dire need means we address it early. But I wouldn’t bet on it.

Farley , sewell, slater, surtain all are surefire needs and fits. If 1 of them are there when we are drafting at 10, you take them. Makes us better now. HOWEVER, if all those guys are gone when we pick, u try to find a trade partner and move down...gather picks and just draft, stockpile good FB players. Worry about fit later. Just bring good ballers into the fold and let the best guy win and play.

Just me, but my guess is they're going to prioritize leadership for FS just as much talent. With that said, I'm guessing they much rather sign a cheap quality low-mid range free agent. As for DT, especially 1 tech, I don't see it. So I guess the answer to your question is no.

Saints have decided to let Williams move along because they believe he’s going to get 14 to 15m annually. Maye has basically been a bust, no way he should get 10 or 11 and if he does it’s based on name and not performance!

Just FYI. Found out yesterday that Simmons agent is the notorious Todd France. My pipe dream is over.......

Fully agree.

Fred was "media mocked" to go in the mid 2nd round so there was no "value."

The team didn't get a "steal."

If anyone goes back and does the redraft thing five years afterward, they'd have a tough time filling out a first round of non busts with the entire draft.

Thats why I've mentioned taking Moehrig at 10 if it's going to solve the problem.

"Value?" Nope. Why not? Because so and so (several of whom will bust) are projected higher.
