TV show strangeness - stuff hope can you answer

This is mainly asking a Question on strange things, about a character or whatever from a TV show that you can answer. (Sorry bout the bad title grammar)

On the 1960's tv show Batman & Robin, WHY did Robin wear a cape? We know why Batman had one. But is there a specific reason for Robin?

*I'm stumped,,,,er,,,yet I know Don Martin's cartoon crime fighter& all around good doer character: "Capt. Klutz" sported a bathtowel cape to fully round out his heroistic wardrobe ensemble,,,cuz' the dictates of his idiotic lunacy deemed it necessary

What's also funny is Robin wearing a mask. Oh no!!! Can't let people know his true identity. Like why would anyone care. What, he thinks he's one of the Beatles or something? lol.

To keep Batman from checking out his demure derriere. Before the cape, Batman used to make him mad just to see him walk away.

People in cartoons never have to change their clothes...every week the same outfit and we accept it bc we know it's easier to animate.

That dynamic was always strange...there are just too many jokes

Personally, I was happy DC had Dick Grayson move away from wearing a cape when his character evolved into Nightwing:



DC continued with Grayson replacements as Robin afterwards, so they do not intend on retiring Bird Boy's cape any time soon. That said, I do like the cape drawn for Bruce Wayne's son, Damien:

3) How long did it take Mr.T to get dressed? I imagine he didn't have to lift weights. He just put on and took off 200 gold necklaces everyday.

Ozzie and Harriet - what did any of the men in it do for a living? Were they joint owners is a sweater company? Cardigans R Us?

Ozzie didn't have a job and was basically an aimless person, is it a surprise that his son Ricky was always walking into a room and surprised to find himself in it? Or anybody else in the house and they were always there.

Beverly Hillbillies - why didn't Mr. Ed ever make a guest appearance? The dialogue between him and Ellie Mae could have been provocative.

Why did the marketing department fail to capitalize on Ellie Mae Jeans, Jethro Bodine Cereal Bowl and Granny Clampett's Possum Helper?

Why didn't Jed ever have that "talk with that boy"? He had plenty of time and didn't have a job.

Dick Van Dyke Show - pajamas and twin beds? Was Ritchie an immaculate conception.

Didn't you ever want to see what Buddy and Sally were doing when Rob wasn't in the room?

The Rifleman - was a bad shot. All that shooting as the opener and looks up and he's obviously missed one and it is obvious that he doesn't like that person. And they're taller than he is. Lots taller.

Have Gun, Will Travel - why does that person keep walking up to Paladin in the opener, doesn't he know that gun could accidentally go off? Must be fascinated with holsters.

Gunsmoke - Chester's limp. Did he catch Matt, Miss Kitty and Doc in a compromising situation and that was his lesson? Doc was kinky, I am sure of it.
