Heavy hypocrisy in this thread by a certain someone.
Interesting to watch.

Peyton Manning was drafted #1 overall to a very bad team whereas Dak stepped into a team set at the OL, WR, TE, and RB position not to mention a good defense.

That said, Peyton Manning had a losing season (3-13) his rookie season and in his 4th season (6-10). Beyond that, Manning's career record outside of those 2 seasons is -177-56....so mentioning Dak in the same sentence as Manning is insanity.

If you can read as well as you think you do you would have seen that I said that Peyton went on to have a good career and won another Super Bowl. It's funny how every time you change the point of the discussion. The real point is Manning in his first 5 years didn't out play Prescott.. So go troll someone else.

So you feel the need to defend a fellow Dak supporter and ignore comments made to me such as "Don’t hurt yourself trying to understand this sport." not to mention comments made to me by that member in other threads which were nothing but insults? Please pick your battles as some simply are not worth the time given the outcome.

I see your mentality tells you that you were called a name in some other thread so it's OK to call someone else in this thread a name. Ya that says a lot about you. I usually give veterans the benefit of the doubt on things at least until they show who and what they are. Strike three you're out. Go troll someone else.

Orlovsky has a lot in common with the Anti-Dak crew on CowboysZone.

They’ve all been tarred and feathered. They’ve been proven wrong over and over again, but now this is the hill they must die on.

It’s pretty great. Dak wins, they lose.
I bet Orlovsky is actually one of the Dak hating posters here on Cowboys Zone. The question is, which poster is he?

Interesting how you earlier try and call me out for 'name calling' yet here you are doing that very thing. Damn hypocrisy is interesting.

So at what point does the fact that he hasn't won anything become a real issue? Because, you know...he hasn't.

I just laugh when I see people say things like dink and Dak when in 2019 for most of the season until week 15 Prescott had the highest completion percentage for passes of 20+ yards and 40+ yards in the league.
.
.

Well, what about 30+ ? Convenient how you left that out.

Some Dak hater probably

Tough crowd..

Actual NFL scouts are wrong all the time but I’m off once or twice and I get held to a higher standard.. Interesting.
By God, I'd hire you before I'd hire Shy Jones Anderson.
No lie.

I watched that interview and frankly, it missed the neon sign that smacked them all in the forehead as they passed it by.

The dynamic at play here, right now, is control. This, IMO, is not about Dak as much as it is about losing the game and the integrity of the current structure, in which, the game is set up to work in. QBs demanding all this money is a game changer and a killer, longterm, IMO.

Fans should pay attention here. This is what those ridiculous contract demands are going to get you. Wentz and Geoff and even Dak's situations are views into what will happen if this current model is not corrected. We had fans on this very board telling me that Wentz was getting paid more then Dak and Goeff as well. Had TV personalities telling all of us that both of those QBs were better. Well, they both probably were before those contracts. With those contracts come very specific types of pressure. In the case of Wentz, the fan support he had before the contract, up and died, only to be replaced by hate. He is not longer the same QB because the support he had from his own team and fan base changed because of that Contract. Now, be it the change that happened with Wentz specifically or from the team and/or fan base, it happened and it happened because of the contract. Wentz, prior to getting that deal, had proven nothing and the team gave it to him way before he earned it. Way before he was ready IMO. They basically ruined their own QB with that contract. Now, he's in serious trouble and Philly is screwed by their own hand. Geoff, his situation is all about the money. The Rams signed him to this deal knowing the whole time that they would be getting out of it before they actually had to pay stupid money so, as I said many time over, his deal was never all that good. Dak's deal, the deal the team offered him last year, was better then both of these other QBs but of course, everybody knew better except they didn't and now we are here. Dak is making a mistake here but it's his to make so that's a different discussion. What is more important is that this is what's going to happen to all of these QBs and agents who demand stupid contracts. They are going to get a few years of money but when the real money comes into play, they are going to get cut. People are surprised that we have so many good QBs available well, I'm not. You could see this coming for years now. This is going to continue to happen until players wise up. Agents are going to push this thing no matter what because they get paid up front, off signings. The more deals they can sign for bigger numbers, the more money they make because they get paid up front off a percentage of the deal. So for them, the bigger the number down the road and the tougher the situation it creates for the team, the better for them because it either forces the team to restructure at bigger numbers, which is another payday for the agent or the QBs get cut and the agents eventually sign another deal with another team and again, they get paid. But the QBs, they are typically paying for it and the fans and the rest of the team, they are definitely paying bigtime. It's bad business and very harmful to the team but sure, lets go ahead and support this horrible business model like the ignorant fans we apparently are.

This is so bad and yet, we are all on board with it right? Well, not all of us but then so what, the rest of the fan base just thinks we are stupid or worse because it's easier for them to believe we are stupid and much, much worse, rather then just use a little common sense and understand that their willingness to follow the hurd over the cliff is wrong minded, it's not good and it's a mistake. Just can't bring yourselves to admit it thou. It's really unfortunate, I hope Jerry understands that we don't have to be stupid and just allow these agents to continue to ruin our teams. We can do the smart thing and create stability.

But what do I know right? I'm just a hatter with very little grey matter so yeah, carry on.......

Is it his (Brooks) logic that because Dak is the best QB of his draft class he deserves top money?

Your screwing up my martyrdom Amigo! I wish it wasn't lent, this would be a perfect time to go open a beer and enjoy the evening. Unfortunately, I give up the grape during Lent so I guess I'll just have to settle for going out and eating some Street Taco's from a little truck I know, out in Corrales.

Have a great Saturday evening Brother. It's what they are made for!

Peace......

Well, what kind of money did all the other QBs in his class actually make? I'm pretty sure that that number is going to come in way lower then any of the fan base would expect. I also think that the offer in front of Dak, right now, would prove to be better then any of those deals.

Birria tacos are a great alternative to some of the lesser indulgences we tend to give up.
