Goodbye Dak thanks for the memories. Russel Wilson come on down your now the next QB of the Dallas Cowboys. While Dak thows away all his endorsement deals you Russell will flourish with many of them now.

If inept Prescott goes to D.C. we will be guaranteed 2 wins a season!
Here's the scenario.....We will be up 41-15 at the start of the 4th Q at which point our defense will lay back in prevent and let Prescott make the final score 41-35.
Win for the Cowboys!!!

This is why you let Dak hit FA rather than tag. Make him as attractive as possible for the WFT to sign.

Yall are so gullible, I highly doubt Dak or France really said these things. Just getting yall rallied up for nothing or to paint Dak in a bad light.

Nowadays if it's not a direct quote... don't believe it. Take the JJ Watt "Peloton" incident for instance.

Obscurity? As opposed to playing for a team that wins nothing but gets a lot of attention? :muttley:

It's not 1995, and hasn't been for a long time. Playing for the Dallas Cowboys is no longer a privilege.
I agree with you. Playing for the Cowboys is not the honor it used to be. I would add that the fans of this team are not delusional. I think 90-95% of the fan base has accepted that this team is a bottom feeding loser franchise.

The delusional ones are the Jones family and the NFL that continue to hype up the team. It's delusional that Dallas has several nationally televised games a year and gets as much time on the talk shows while hardly making the playoffs and being a .500 ball club since '95.

Jerry and his enablers and the media are the delusional ones IMO.

The irony is that it's Prescott who should be showing the Cowboys respect. Who drafted him after the DUI charge against him? He benefitted from playing behind arguably the best offensive line any rookie QB has ever played behind in the history of the NFL to favourably massage his stats. He was very fortunate to land in this spot yet he has seemingly became delusional.

I just hope the front office see it through and move on from the fat head.

When you start negotiations( for the third time lol) you go high. So the right behind Mahomes statement is probably the opening number. Lets see what he signs for . If it is a plot to get out of Dallas why wait til next year? Move him before the draft to where ever he wants to go. and draft a young qb.
I can see him making outrageous contract demands to get out of Dallas this year by forcing them to trade him due to salary cap issues.

The statement that I'm referring to his agent said the salary cap being low and Dallas not having much room under the cap is "Dallas' problem" and not Dak's. They could be setting the contract so high it is impossible to get it done therefore forcing a trade.

Just a thought.

As it stands right now we can’t even franchise him. So no trade

heck they HQ in Frisco, and play in Arlington, nothing in dallas anymore.

I bet they also have given themselves big raises for many times for the excellent work they do !

If this is true, Dak and his agent can go BLANK themselves....for a guy who can't even compete with The Clapping Carrot in a simple "hit my hands" held still at chest level passing drill from 15 yards, to this embarrassing clip....what a SELFISH tool he has become. And Dak is his OWN man, so don't blame it all on his agent!!!

nd Dak is his OWN man, so don't blame it all on his agent!!!....... I have been saying this but people still think it is just france lol.
And wow Carr made dak look really bad lol.

Eww. Always cancer when they play the "respect" card, and "Right Behind Mahomes" is just bad bargaining.

No one thinks that Dak is "just behind Mahomes" in talent or accomplishment, and Dak has now invited that negative comparison all day long by tying his salary demands to Mahomes.

I had just yesterday talked myself into Dak "doing the intelligent thing" by waiting for the tv contracts to come through before signing, and otherwise "playing it smart" by saying right things to keep it positive with management and the fans.

And now this. Both cancerous and stupid. Wow. Sad.

But ... I don't see Dak or France saying this, I see Fake News reporting it. Maybe it's just the usual clickbait bs spinning otherwise reasonable statements. I think I'll reserve judgment and hope for the best.
well said. ALSO, it shows Daks ignorance of the situation.

Dak himself said he didn’t deserve nor did he want to be the highest paid. So I’m chalking this up to fake news. Or. As the Jones boys have been known to do. Them leaking it to the media to turn the fan base and get him to lower demands. See Dez video.

won't work. I AM A DAK FAN. I want him here. He has gotten better every year. Dak and France are harming themselves the longer this goes.

I find it hard to believe he wants 44 million a year, if he does let him hit the market and see what he is actually offered instead of giving him his demands. Even if this were a "bridge burner" they need to get another option whoever it is at this point like signing Alex Smith or a journeyman at 1/5 the cost.

He probably doesn't ........Jerry and Stephen are playing word/context games with the media. They leak he wants money that would make him the 2nd highest right behind Mahomes but here's what they are not saying. Watson is currently the 2nd highest paid QB $39M per year. A contract paying Dak $39.5M per would replace Watson as the highest-paid behind Mahomes. Notice Stephen didn't leak the amount of their latest offer. My guess he's offering a deal with a ceiling of $37M, which actually a fair/good IMO but it appears Dak/France thinks his numbers should be more than Watson's $39M.

If in fact this is an accurate report then all bets are off and JJ & Co. need to assign the non-exclusive franchise tag to Dak and allow him to shop himself elsewhere so as to recoup whatever draft pick compensation deal they can obtain while also recognizing this team needs to change the me first big money deal culture and rebuild a TEAM.
