I am wondering if Zach Wilson does not go 1st, 2nd or 3rd overall if thats who we really should be drafting.
Good question.

But you can eliminate the "go 1st" part out of the sentence, as that ain't happening.
Lawrence to the Jags. As a friend of Dabo Sweeny, Meyer has seen Lawrence up close (practices and games) for 3 years and thinks he is off the charts great.

Yes, he is generally and surprisingly good on QB evals
Better than most for sure.

I would have Lawrence #1, but this is his ranking, not mine.

I’ve been saying for a year that Lawrence is not the player that Watson is. Lawrence scares me for some reason.

If Kellen Mond is better than Fields n Lance, Simms is definitely the man. His previous track record is impressive.

Anybody have a good Cowboys angle on this?

I disagree with the list - watching the last 4 years of Aggie football soured me on Mond for good - but I respect the hell out of Simms for always being willing to go against the grain. This isn't clickbait either, you can see how successful his past rankings have been.

He also was the first of the talking heads saying Mahomes was the guy.

When I said Wilson was my top guy I was laughed at. Glad Chris thinks the same

Interesting rankings for sure.

It's weird when you're a guy like Simms who has these kind of contrarian takes. On one hand, it's obviously good, because everyone regurgitates the same **** and original thought is actually discouraged (leading ppl to be surprised when certain players don't turn out). On the other hand, it can kind of become a gimmick ('what can I believe this time that is so obviously against popular opinion?), which obviously isn't great either
