Considering that NBA players are less likely to have the undermining health conditions that tend to make COVID-19 worse, I personally would like for them to receive it at the same time as the general population, not after, just the same as everyone else.
I understand this take totally but they are a big entertainment business and effect millions upon millions in dollars in local economies.
The faster they roll out the better.
The NBA has a very manageable number of players, the finances to pay any costs for getting and distributing the vaccine effectively and could even provide their arenas as vaccine locations to the general public using their own players/staff as the first test bed.
Once you have the first responders and people with high risk conditions I'd have them near the very top of any general release.

Looks like Golden is successfully rehabbing Andrew Wiggins on both ends of the court. Thats something to keep an eye on. For all his deficiencies, he is one of the the most talented players in the NBA.

Its been up and down for us, especially defensively. However Im very optimistic. Jaylen Brown is significantly better than last year when he just missed the all star game. I think he is a 2nd team All NBA contender this year. Both him and Tatum are averaging over 26 a game this year. Walker has looked good since returning, and all reports are that his treatment was very successful

The younger players are starting to form a good complimentary core around them. Semi Ojeleye has really improved his shot and is looking like a legit 3&D. They are getting solid play from both Williams. With Rob, I could see them possibly trading Theis in season. Losing Pritchard for a couple weeks hurts, but he looking like he could be very much a Van Vleet type guy. Nesmith has had back to back good shooting nights, and I can see him starting to get consistent playing time

So...I gotta ask

What's up with Dallas? I know they were dealing with injuries and it's early, but...kinda thought they were gonna be maybe the 4th best team out West behind both LA teams and Denver.

Also, I was hella wrong on New Orleans. Thought they were gonna be a a lot better as well

Mavs have dealt with the worst case of COVID in the league and a brutal early strength of schedule.
Last few games have been horrible to watch.
Team had a 5 games in 7 days stretch with 4 guys(3 starters) on COVID reserve.
Last night they had them all back(minus Maxi would had actual health issues from COVID) for the first time but they just got crushed.

They do get a far easier schedule going forward but they've got to figure it all out. The offense has been very bad and the defense has been spotty at best.

KP hasn't gotten right yet from injury and they are along ways off beating anyone in a playoff series right now.

Looking around the NBA, it seems alot of teams are stuck in thw middle of the pack. With this weird off season its seems like the first few weeks were basically preseason

Huge overtime win for my Hornets tonight, especially seeing as we were missing Washington and Rozier and Melo played down the stretch with 5 fouls. Also hit clutch FT's to close it out.

Huge statement wins consecutively against Indiana, Milwaukee, and now the ECC Miami Heat. Let's go get Philly Wednesday night.

Really impressed with Brown’s evolution. Dude is legit.

Wiseman + lightly protected 2021 1st rounder from Minnesota + Oubre for Bradley Beal.

Do you do this trade if you’re GSW?

He is gotten alot better in half court. Teams can't drop on him and give him the mid range jumper anymore. Before this season he has been agressive, but his efficiency was up and down

Yes. Beal would be a killer in that system. He would help make up for not having Klay this year, and he would fit perfectly with Klay and Steph in 2021/22. Wiggins should be a trade asset by the end of the season, and can be moved to help reshape the roster. Or you could keep him as insurance for Klay

Just throwing it out there, but given the surprising play of the Knicks, I think they should make a run at Lonzo Ball before the trade deadline. I don't know what kind of return the Pelicans are looking for to pry him away, but by most reports, they are in a position to lose him with no compensation this offseason since they just gave Ingram a huge deal and just aren't as likely to do the same for Ball.

I would probably offer some package that includes the highest of our two fist round picks (top 4 protected) as well as Detroit's 2021 second round pick which will be some where between the 31st-33rd picks. If one of the picks falls in that 1-4 range, they just get the lower of the two first round pick unprotected, so in theory if the Knicks got the #1 and #2 pick (won't happen, just illustrating the point), they would get the #2 despite the protection.

As far as players to add, at best these would be throw ins, since the picks are the greater value, so that means no Robinson, Toppin, RJ Barrett or Quickley. Obviously vets like Randle (who they let walk) and Rose would be included, but I doubt they would want either.

So my guess would be 2021 first (top 4) protected, 2021 second (from DET), Elfrid Payton and Kevin Knox. Obviously NOP take a step back this year, but this may put them in a better position going forward.

Rozier with the game winner last night for Charlotte! Incredible game considering the circumstances. They were off all week, and even turned the ball over like 25 times and still won in odd fashion because of a Draymond Green technical foul with 9 seconds left.

One game out of .500 and we have the Jazz next...

Damn.

Mavs got healthy and are rolling.
As painful as it was to watch the COVID Mavs this last couple weeks has felt like a 4 seed team.

Luka is just insanely good.

I absolutely love that CHA is going all out after wins.
A lot of teams would probably tank and try to get a top pick to sit next to LaMelo for the next decade but that tanking crap is an infection.
LaMelo went to the perfect spot for him and I think he can elevate that franchise.

Absolutely. Melo brings a championship mentality and a high basketball IQ. You can tell he's played professionally elsewhere.

In my opinion, they're a big man away from making some noise in the postseason. Drafted two guys in the second round this year but they've hardly seen the floor.

Dude is such an asset to a team. Ice cold veins. Big moment guy. Not your traditional PG, but he defends at a high level, shoots well of the bounce and catch and gets to the hoop

If there was ever a time for the Knicks to win the lottery, last year was it :(
