I’m just ready for it to stop.
I’m right there with you. #makeitstop

As much as I’ve been supportive of Dak, mainly because there have been no other options, if the front office doesn’t get an actual contract done this year then it’s time to finally just move on because he won’t be back

Me too. It's not even fun anymore. Sign him or trade him, one way or another, as soon as possible. Resolving this will be the best thing to happen one way or another.

I'm waiting to see what the new excuses will be if Dak gets signed and they still finish 8-9 or 9-8. I mean, some here think Dak getting signed means instant super bowl because Dak is super man and can do everything all by himself. He just needs to be paid first, then he's gonna show everyone. No need for 21 other players when you have super Dak.
Can you show one post, tweet, anything..... where that was the opinion?

When you post it on a forum for all to see and all to comment on...Yeah...It is my business.
BTW...My name is not Dak...keep your hate for him.

lol...that was funny. So, just because your name is not Dak, does that mean that others can't hate you?

I mean, if I were to meet someone and told them my name is not Dak, so they have to love me?

I still have my SG for sale, you said you wanted it, or one.

Yes.. WE had a really good team so Dak had a really good season.

We all know Dak can do well if he has allllll of the pieces around him he needs.

Now how do we go about getting alllll those pieces to win more then 1 wildcard game over a 5 year period while paying him 40x more then he was making.
If you knew football, you’d know that Dak has gotten a LOT better since his rookie year. So giving the current version of Dak a good defense would absolutely make us title contenders.

IF you knew football.

I didn't say Dak hasn't gotten better.

Dak's a solid football player.

He's just incredibly horrible value. This would be bad value for an elite QB much less a Dak.

There’s no viable alternative.

You either pay for a good, young QB or you become one of the 20 teams that are sorely lacking at the position.

The draft is a crapshoot. The odds of selecting a QB who ends up being as good as Dak are slim.

I'm fine with a crapshoot. I'd rather be bad then mediocre.

Being bad gets you Trevor Lawrence for 5 years on a rookie deal.. I'll take that over our cornerback at pick 10 and mediocrity.

Therein lies part of the problem in this equation: having seemingly no other viable alternative should not force Dallas into overpaying for a QB that while in the Top 10-12 QB's in the league will not lift Dallas to the Super Bowl alone as the defense needs a complete rebuild and the offensive line is not too far behind so while as difficult as it may be to move on from Dak, the time has long since come for Dallas to dedicate themselves to a complete organizational rebuild as the formula they have been using is not working.

You realize the odds of not having a good QB for the next 10+ years are a LOT higher than the odds of landing a Pro Bowl stud QB, even in the 1st round, right?

There are some franchises who have NEVER had a QB as good as Dak. That’s not an exaggeration.

Well, that is just wrong because there is always an alternative. Let say for instance, Dak cannot play this season, now what?

Good QBs are extremely tough to find. We lucked into one, just like we did with Romo.

Our defense is garbage. As long as that’s the case, we won’t win anything no matter who the QB is.

But the solution to the garbage defense is NOT to get rid of your good QB, in order to save money. That’s absurd.

Lock up your good QB and work on the defense. Hit on some draft picks and some key signings and hope Dan Quinn can elevate them.

Let me ask you this as an honest question for a legitimate open dialogue: how many seasons do you think it will take, given current signed personnel and if Dak is re-signed, to build this team into a Super Bowl team?

I recognize that is a tough question given so many variables of injuries, etc. but knowing that the Dallas defense just came off a historically bad year and the injuries along the offensive line, I personally think it will take at least 3-4 years to try and rebuild the team so to me why sign Dak to a lucrative 4 year deal (which is what him and his agent are holding out for) only to see the team needing that time to rebuild just to see Dak be a free agent yet again?

I can't tell the future and none of us are experts at what will be but one thing I am sure all of can agree on: we are all tired of not getting to the Super Bowl in over 25 years.

Yeah i'm fine with taking the risk. Doesn't scare me. If we can find quality in the 4th round we'll eventually get one in the 1st.

I've seen enough of Dak to know his capabilities as well as look at the lack of post season success.
