Show any of us when he was that far out there, with such a big smile on his face, making bold statements like that. He's never done it, but doing it now makes him look fake - and greedy. Like it wasn't a priority before.

So it seems your argument is you can claim to know every word he has spoken over 5 years, despite there being no actual way that can be true, and your only argument is that I can't recite every word he has spoken over 5 years. Do you really not understand how incredibly nonsensical that is?

And, again, the question was never what we recall him saying, it was whether he wanted to win a Super Bowl before.

So, again, please explain why he wouldn't have wanted to win a Super Bowl before. What logic is there behind the claim he didn't want to win before? How would not winning a Super Bowl benefit him in any way?

you act as if Dak's future is already written. did you know Manning went 0-4 in the playoffs to start his career......

and based on what you said, you probably think if they don't win it in the first 4 years, then they shouldn't get a new contract. does that mean, then every 4 years a team should dump thier QB and rebuild because they didn't win it in 4 years?

Manning went 0-4

:omg::omg:

such knowledge
Such information

Since you brought it up, from now on let’s start comparing everything Dak does to everything Peyton accomplished in the NFL

wake me up when Dak takes his team to the conference CG (I.e never)

then we can start talking about SBs (never)

:lmao2:

You missed his point. His point wasn't that Dak is as good as Peyton, it was that playoff record at the first of a career doesn't define a player.

It's evident you don't like Dak, so why start a thread about him signing his new franchise record contract extension?

I like Dak, he's no Brady but I like him, I also have seen him make some bone-headed throws and miss receivers, etc.
But he's the Cowboys QB so I support him.

no, you missed the point on your usual zeal to defend the mediocrity (just like you did for years with Garrett)

if other QBs (in the modern era of salary cap) can go 1-3 in the playoffs and then go on to win multiple SBs (which is what Dak would need to do to justify being paid 42 million/y) then show me those names

show me

it hasn’t been done because if you can’t get it done when you’re being paid on a rookie deal and your team has much more cap flexibility then there is no chance you will get it done when you’re being paid 42 million and your team has little cap flexibility left

that’s THE POINT

I am using your standards....why are you mad at me!?

you said Dak hasn't won it yet, so my question is, if that's indication that he will never win? you said never. so you think because he didn't do it in his first 4,5 years, he will never do it.....I am sure when he does, you will credit the coach, the defense, the FB, row 54 in section 413, the janitor of the locker room, Nike for the shoes they gave him, the angle of the sun when he played his 4:00PM games, etc. but every loss will be attributed to Dak......

if that's your standard of measure (which is what you just re-iterated), then how do you explain Manning? (you didn't)

I didn't compare Dak to Manning. its you trying to make a connection, because you came up with a standard that even manning didn't meet, now you are piissed at me for asking you about your own standards and you are spinning into a different subject.

so again, if a QB doesn't win it in his first 5 years, does it mean they never will? is that or is that not your standard of measure?

you are a great example of who the Cowboys fans are these days

Player fan not team fan

Sad but true

lol what are the Cowboyzone police? go fight with someone who has time.
I'm not fighting. Just want to know what bone-headed throws Dak has made...since you brought it up. lol

It should be easy, especially since you were so quick to make such a charge, right? Come on, you can do it. I believe in you. :D

This isn't what you said the previous post. You clearly ignored his point that early playoff record does not define a player's career, and pretended he was saying Dak was as good as Manning.

But hey, when you get called out for responding in away makes no sense, just post in a different direction the next time and pretend that's what you said the first time, right?

And that's what you are doing again, responding with something that doesn't apply to what I wrote - just acting emotional, tossing out a lame, irrelevant insult, and not worrying about the actual context.

By the way, I wasn't aware Manning and Brees were from the single bar face mask era.
