Boy, the Tomlinson deal really hurts. I was really hoping the FO would do something different and wise this year. *** was I thinking?!
I even discussed on here the contract he'd get.....most of us thought almost double what he got. Not the money but we thought 30-35 million on 4 years.......

Its odd last season they spent similar money on Poe and McCoy but this year they said no......trading for Malcolm Brown can calm the storm but I won't even get my hopes up.

The deals that were signed today make the contracts of 54 and 21 look even more ridiculous.

Those two need to be gone ASAP, which we know isn't YET with all the guarantees Jerry got hosed for.

No one can make the case this tram is managed anywhere close to well.

Ita pathetic actually.

We are truly going absolutely nowhere until the two idiots are forced to the sidelines somehow.

At least we don't face Tomlinson twice a year now. Do the rookie contracts come from the $18 million dollars?

Just need to hear @Rockport and @PJTHEDOORS thoughts on why we dont need Dalvin Tomlinson.
We do need him. But $11 mil per year was too steep I guess. I understand the Cowboys philosophy regarding free agency. And it is a good one. Their #1 goal is to be able to manage the cap so that they can stay in the mix from year to year, not just go all in in for 1 year. If an opportunity comes along, like Amari Cooper, they have the room to make the move. All these early signings teams are over paying. While I want them to pick up a tier 1 or tier 2 DT or safety or CB, and there’s still plenty of time to do so, I understand their reasoning.

Is this Stephen Jones?

In their mind they probably think signing a couple of middling DTs that total what it would cost for a real DT is a wise investment.

They have up until the draft to show and prove. You still have draft and trades. By the end of the draft youll be able to tell if this will be another flop year

Oh, I think we can already tell the year we are going to have.

It’s not surprising you understand a losing philosophy.

At the end of the day, the Jones boys likely believe it’s not the DTs or Ss that are a problem. It was Nolan.

Bring in a new DC and he’ll spit shine the talent that Jerry and Stephen have acquired over the years.
