they gotta fix the OL. The run blocking scheme is simple too.

lots of A gap rushes last year. ( so tired of that pistol/shotgun handoff to Zeke in the A gap. Everyone knows that play by now.)

i think Zeke is best in the C gap. Get him in space.
It’s not the offense of line that makes him put the ball on the ground. It’s not the offense of line that makes him trip over his own ego on the goal line.

Who is afraid to put numbers out there. It’s only a guess. And I personally could care less if I’m right or wrong.

Im curious to what you think is a bounce back year? Is it 1200 yards, 1500 yards? 8 TD's, 15 TD's?

For me, he would have to rush for 1500 yards and 15 total TD's for it to be a bounce back.

I suspect it's coming. He's been quite this offseason and he's too young to be done. He stopped doing feed me last year, making me believe he's aware of what we were seeing from him. I think he's out to prove himself again, and I hope he has a chip on his shoulder.

I hope it looks like he reclaims second gear. He might be too muscled up now. Surely the training staff realizes what they need to do?
So, what is Zeke doing every day, every hour, to bounce back???
I'd sure like for him too. Maybe someone in the Organization can figure out the key to get Zeke motivated.

My theory is that over the course of his NFL career he's added a suit of armor by building his body up. In turn its helped him to remain durable, unfortunately its also made him more of a grinder. He's lost some of his rookie year explosiveness.

My hope is the training staff and Zeke identify this and put him on a regiment to lean up and work on speed. While I admit he wasn't ever a burner, AND his oline was much more dominant, he was still electric in 2016.

Maybe he never gets that back. Maybe the drop off is exaggerated with his oline. However, he's still young enough that I have hope it can be regained.

There are a couple of things that foster my hope. He was aware enough last season to stop doing "feed me." He has apparently matured, and had a quiet off season. Lastly, he is looking leaner. I've heard it said before, it's usually good news when a RB loses a little weight or a WR gains some muscle. Either way Zeke will need to step up and produce to remain on this roster.

I already told you what I think it is. Not putting the ball on the ground. Not taking him self out of the game when he feels like it . He’s going to get his yards he’s a banger. But he doesn’t get the yard when they needed most. If he turned that around that’ll be a bounce back here

So.....what about Dak?

Was it the oline that did this?:

"Even before he went down, Prescott wasn't immune from the turnover bug. The Cowboys offense was churning out plenty of yards, points, and plays early in the year, but also gave opposing defenses lots of opportunities in the process. While Prescott accounted for 13 total touchdowns in five games (nine passing, three rushing, one receiving), he also uncharacteristically turned it over seven times, throwing four picks and losing three fumbles over that same stretch. "

But it was ALLL Zeke's fault, right?

The coaches MUST enact a better 2 back system. The Pollard/Elliot combo SHOULD be deadly. But injuries, retirements and mismanagement have killed it.

I don't mean substitution when zeke raise his hand. I mean a real game plan to keep the defense befuddled. Of course....you need a QB threat AND...a game plan.

But it's all Zekek fault of course.

Yeah Zeke by himself put the ball on the ground nobody else. When Prescott throws an interception that’s on him nobody else. Even if it bounces off the receivers fingers. Stop The hypocrisy. Always going to blame somebody else for Elliotts mishaps And in case you haven’t noticed this thread is about Elliot not Prescott.

Find me someone who is all into weed and also extra motivated.

He got his college championship and a big pay day.

Would have to work extra hard to maintain a high level at that position.

Not gonna happen.

For what he cost us ......he better have a bounce back year.....A BIG ONE or he’s probably gone. No Cowboys uniform for Zek in 2022. After he got that mega contract....he took the money and ran....just not on the football field. (Although his stats weren’t that bad last season ) If he’s not top 5 back in league 2022 he’s done in Dallas.
My prediction for what it’s worth (000.0) I believe he’ll have a pro bowl season. I think it’s gonna be a “pride” season for him.

Yeah but you were wrong. I wasn’t hitting on Elliot. I was standing out in actual fact. Only he can put the ball in the ground no one else helps him. Other than the defense LOL
