I mean progression as in as far as making plays in a 16 game season. Seemed like a lot of times he’d be just a half second late at making a play.

The starters in D-Law and Gregory may be good but the backups (rotational players) are not. Seriously need an upgrade. The defense long run 16 game schedule depends on it.

the potential is there. Gregory if he can stay out of trouble and Basham has the physical skills but is inconsistent.

Anae could be a rotational piece perhaps.

wouldn’t be surprised if they drafted another guy too.

but i stop see DT as being an even bigger issue.

As far as depth goes... who has a decent depth at the edge rusher position?

The league isn't structured to allow teams to stock-pile depth at any one position.

Simply doesn't work that way.

only thing Gregory is bad at , staying off mary jane..when hes played , hes good..very good..

6th year in the league this year ....... 10.5 sacks in his career.

Had 3 sacks last year ...... Yea he is a game changer

Except in the CZ, many aren't happy we do not have all-pros 53 deep on the roster. Then if we did, they would whine they get paid too much, need to release them and start over with rookies. Then they whine about not having top players.
It is their whine cycle of life. :laugh:

Oh, and some all pro player or 2 will be the standard whipping boy.

I watch football and judge team after the season not in the offseason..

Bench me IDC this place has become miserable and the 24/& *****fest gets old..wears on real fans who feel like they are surrounded by eagles fan in a place that supposed to be real fan community..

If Lawrence and Gregory stay healthy - they’re two of the best pass rusher in the league and they can BOTH stop the run as well, which we’ve had major problems with from the RDE position.
