------Will he be hesitant to pull the ball and run?

He has already stated after signing the new deal that he will be making more "business decisions".....so my question, is what good is he then? He sure isn't a threat to be relied on to continually throw accurately with more DB's dropped into coverage....I think his # of PI's is going to rise like a rocket!!!

The Cowboys posted a video on their site (dallascowboys.com) showing him going through a workout and he didn't look to be limited in any way .. I understand that it could have been edited but unless they called in some Hollywood F/X folks to make him look healthy I'd say he's nearly all the way back already.
Dak is the last thing I'm worried about going into next season. He'll recover, or has recovered, from his injury and I seriously doubt his play will suffer.

Going into next season I'm worried about the defense, offensive tackles and coaching. And if coarse the ongoing issue of Jerry's psychosis that he's a football guy.

To begin with we really should not want Dak running very much. We want him to stand in the pocket and deliver the rock and only take off when we absolutely need it. Not counting the read option TDs in the red zone of course. As far as defenders around that leg? I imagine as with most injuries he will "feel it" in his head the first time or two but the as soon as he gets hit there and realizes that he's fine I think it will be behind him. Any trepidation will be gone by the middle of the first quarter of his first game back.
What Prescott needs to improve on is his awareness when the pocket breaks down - feel the pressure, then react and escape before he is trapped and sacked.

I have little doubt Dak will recover fully from the injury, my only concerns is the mental aspect of coming back. Will he be hesitant to pull the ball and run? how will react to pressure especially as defenders are around that leg?
You know your heart and your balls react to the fear processing in your brain. Dak was even calm trying to reset his ankle when he broke it out on the field. The dude has balls of tungsten 183.84u. The melting point of Tungsten is 3407 °C

No other team would have offered Dak any big money contract unless he could throw, run, cut, and pass a physical, which included doctors and MRIs/x-rays.

Only Jerry didn’t need to see any of that. That right there speaks volumes about what this contract was about.

So, an owner risks so much on wishful thinking based on a QB rehabbing like Irvin did 33 years ago. What could go wrong?

ESPN Headline: "Jerry Jones hints at Dak Prescott spinal problem that similarly ended Michael Irvin's career"

I don't remember ever hearing about a spinal injury for Prescott so I googled it and found nothing about a spinal injury so I then went to ESPN and did not find anything that has Jones saying anything about a spinal injury with Prescott. The only thing I've found where Jones mentioned Prescott and Irvin was how he compared how Prescott is working at rehab like Irvin did. So since you're the one with this ESPN story with Jones talking about a Prescott spinal injury how a bout a link to that story because I can't find it anywhere on ESPN.

I've said this many times before. The written form of communication is the hardest form to detect sarcasm and intentional joking if the reader does not know the individuals style. There is no voice inflection or facial expressions or hand jesters. In other words the reader only has what is written unless there is something that clarifies it's meaning.

So ESPN Headline: "Jerry Jones hints at Dak Prescott spinal problem that similarly ended Michael Irvin's career" has NOTHING to make a reader not to think that that user is stating something that was intended to be believed as written.

I hope he learns to slide more. I don't like seeing QB's stiff arming defenders.
