Why is Sean Lee still on the roster?

It should prove interesting to see what becomes of Lee this year. ;)

It's likely our FO might have to hold the door open for him to depart.

The time has arrived for Sean to refuse continuing to serve his past.

He has less use than Jason Garrett’s playbook. No availability, trade value, or knowledge to still pass down.

Hopefully Jerry can give him a staff position or something to get him to leave
Sean Lee has tons of knowledge he could pass down. And you don't give a player a coaching job just to get rid of them. Its close thread time.

Technically Lee is not on the Cowboys active roster. On the Cowboys own website he's not listed as an active roster member, but only as an unrestricted free agent which means Lee is not on any teams roster right now. Then you say one thing and then contradict yourself. First you said Lee has no knowledge to still pass down and then say you hope Jones gives him a staff position. Why would you want him to be on the staff if he has no knowledge to pass on? I agree that Lee's loss of speed has diminished his effectiveness and it's probably time for him to retire, but I seriously doubt that most people don't doubt his knowledge of the game and how to play LB.

in his prime, he was one of the best.

I’m worried he’s leaning towards retirement.

When he played he was a very good LB, but last season we saw a rather large loss of speed and so I will miss how he played earlier, and I now think it's time for him to retire.

He is not on the roster. Shut this thread down.
he simply hasn't made decision to retire yet..

fan like to start a whinefest threads just because even if its not true..

Ironic a lot of the players this fanbase said was done or didnt want and that goes for coaches as well, quickly found jobs elsewhere..all teams keep vets around past their prime as presence for the young rooks etc until they walk away..Witt finally did..
