A bunch depends on whether any of the three of them go do a decent or trashy team. Any QB in New York will suck, don't care who it is they will be destroyed by that suckfest known as an O line. Jacksonville has plenty of draft picks and they will without a doubt be better and be better fast. Urban should do a good job there with Lawrence I think.

Fields may be no better then Haskins, who was supposed to be the best of the best of the best when he came out and went to the WFT. I'm not sold on him at all. Best pure upside IMO is Wilson because he has quick eyes and awesome arm talent. He may be the new version of the KC QB.

I just don’t get why a team would rather have Dak at his price tag vs Darnold or Wilson at his.

I don’t think a real NFL team values Dak like Cowboy fans do.
That could be, but I have a difficult time figuring out how Watson is supposedly worth a huge haul but Prescott isn't worth half that. Not as if Watson is locked up cheap.

If anything, the Prescott injury is the problem.

I realize you don't like him, but Wentz went for basically a 1 and a 2 which tells me two 1s is the lower end of his market.

Lawrence

Wilson

Fields

There is clear separation between all 3. Fields turned out about like I thought he would before the season when a lot of people were telling me he was better than Lawrence.

That's my initial thoughts as well. In fact, I don't even like Fields. He may turn into a good QB, but he's not NFL right now. College and the NFL are miles apart. You have guys like Manzeil and Tebow that were stars. Their game doesn't translate well to the NFL. You can see it in the tapes yet both were first round picks. Johnny football was a strict first read quarterback or he's waiting for a busted play. That's sandlot football. But you can get away with it in college. Lawrence and Wilson are the only two quarterbacks in this draft that look to be NFL ready. How good they'll be, I don't know.

Mac Jones actually doesn't look too bad, but again, it's college and hard to tell. But at least his entire game isn't running the ball.

I used to think that but the NFL is evolving it’s offenses at such a rapid pace that I don’t think people see what’s going on..

Everything is 3 wide on offense and 3 DBs on defense.

Linebackers look like safeties.

Spread it out and run a simple passing scheme with little to no progressions and when in doubt just run around until you find someone open.

Well yeah, that seems to be accurate. But in the NFL you have the very best college players on defense. And me personally, I'd rather have a quarterback that isn't limited to just that.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean.. ?

Ok, I don't like a quarterback like Lamar Jackson. And IMO he is at the top of what he does. I think Fields and Trey Lance are similar versions of him. Jackson IMO is a better passer and may still get better. But I'd rather not start off with a QB like that. As much as I trash Dak, Dak is still a pocket passer that can make most throws. He's not elite and has trouble passing in the redzone, but he's more than those QBs.

He is absolutely nothing like Matt Ryan lol
Sorry bud. Not saying he is anything like Matt Ryan. I meant his floor is a Matt Ryan type floor. He can carry a team to Superbowl with proper defense just like Matt Ryan. My bad not explaining it better.

I just don't dig Wilson. He does insane things and looks like an athletic Romo with a big arm. But I don't know still.

I also think Fields is being unfairly ranked by fans cause of Hoskins.

I think it's Lawrence, Fields, Wilson. If I were in the top three, I'd take any of them but I get a major bust feeling from Wilson.

What does everybody think now?
The same thing I thought when you first posted this (and didn’t reply):

Wilson and Lawrence are very close... and Fields doesn’t belong in the same conversation.

If I had to pick between Lawrence and Wilson, I’d probably have to go with Wilson. His play just impresses me more than Lawrence’s, although I do think Lawrence is a very good prospect.

Yeah.

I think Wilson and Lawrence are neck and neck. Not saying Lawrence isn't a super impressive prospect. But like Wilson more. His upside is more. If he clicks in the NFL with good coaching, he will be elite.

Wilson played with a bunch of scrubs and is a pinpoint passer. I am concerned about him because he did not play well against Coastal Carolina.

Lawrence is the best prospect because of his size and arm strength but he is skinny. I believe he injured his shoulder against Ohio St. He seems to crumble when pressured like last season against LSU.

Fields is so underrated by this board. He lit Clemson up and looked like the best quarterback on the field throwing the football. The Ohio St offense concerns me because it is so simple.

I believe all three quarterbacks will do well but it depends on what team drafts them. Fields would be great in a Cowboys uniform.
How about the games before and after Clemson where Fields blew chunks?

Anyone who doesn't have Lawrence #1............... LOL

That's not to say Wilson can't be a good QB but Lawrence is just a different type of prospect.
The other prospects are really not in the same convo w/ Lawrence.

Fields would be like replacing Dak with Dak.. It’s a lateral move.. I’m not against it for monetary reasons but he is a see guy open and then throw type of player.. Slow in his progressions.

Lawrence and Wilson have the potential to carry teams. Fields is a guy who will just be along for the ride.

I think Lance may end up going ahead of Fields too because there is just more upside there.

Fields is a very safe choice though I do believe. High floor.

Fields, is just along for the ride? Your assessments on certain QB's, are priceless.

Even Ohio State fans, knew that Haskins was not ready for the NFL. You are spewing nonsense. Fields, is ten times better.

A lot of people are leaning that way about Fields. His two terrible games sandwiched around his good Clemson game are quite worrisome. Even I was shocked at how bad he was in the title game.

I've never understood how people think a player is the same as another player just because they went to the same school. That makes absolutely zero sense.

I’ve pretty much nailed my Fields evaluation and a lot of experts agree with me when I made these projections ages ago.

So laugh all you like but my controversial opinion on Fields is now a main stream opinion.
