By then I would think that all the NFL players Coaches etc. will have been vaccinated. Im sure they will have some virtual meetings to limit contact but what would be the point if all have the Shot!

Shots will not be mandated by the league so who's to say everyone will get one?

mm refused to say if he was vaccinated or not, so what does that tell you?
I dont think people trust the shot imo. and many dont want to get it, and I doubt it is mandatory for nfl players and coaches.

What if someone medically can't take the shot, or will not take the chance because of it?

You can't mandate it. You would be sued for everything if someone died from the vaccine - which has happened.

Huge liability that the NFL will not open itself up to.

in today's world i don't think we can honestly rule anything out. Employment is not mandatory and is at will, the NFL still has the ability to dictate things just as other companies do.

I am not arguing for or against, i am simply stating that i think a broad sweeping statement that you cant mandate cant be confirmed or refuted

Well, I was not speaking from a legal perspective and employment at will, I was more speaking about mandating a vaccine that only has emergency approval. That would get you sued for sure if something bad happened to that person as a result. This is not a job at Wendy's that can be easily replaced!

Im pretty sure the NFL has a right, in a contact sport like the NFL, to say get vaccinated or don't play. If your an employee and don't want the shot - as is your right, you have the option of no longer working for this (NFL or Team). Just as Typhus has.
I don't get why anyone would want to put others at risk, especially with such a contact sport. Its not just Sundays, its every training day, workout day etc.
They have managed to get thru last year, but seems to me if they want 70,000 people back in the stands - let alone the 10,000 or so players, staff and facilities people around the league, that every precaution should be taken. And we all know the owners want that so .....

Let me revise my statement LOL I was wrong in stating that all NFL affiliates will have taken the shot.
Im sure that there will be some of players for what ever reason that wont take the shot. Im neither for nor against the shot I think that is a choice. I feel that there will be a majority that will and I think it makes the NFL safer. I dont think we will go back to what it use to be its a whole new world so to speak.
