Sounds like an ex- after a daily shopping trip, "Look honey, how much money i saved you today"... I'm sure Junior is proud to tell his Daddy something like that after one of his dumpster diving hunts.

The merits of how they go about improving are debatable, but it appears as though Dallas is executing their offseason plan perfectly right now.

Hopefully it’ll translate into more wins this fall.

When they do have a plan they seem able to do a good job of following it.

The problem is that every single plan they have had the last 25 years have stank it up.

Which might turn out to be gauze.

Kazee is paid like someone they're taking a flyer on, or just churning hoping for a comp pick in 2022 when he's fully recovered. Meaning we did diddley at FS.

Similarly, I don't see that we've done anything at DT to improve.

Resigned Lewis.
Urban as a run stuffing DE.
Neal as a coverage LB.
Basham as a big OLB with blitz capability. DE depth.

Watson, Kazee are flyers and paid like it, with next to nothing guaranteed and no salary if kept.

I expect we'll do more. Talk of a free agent cap squeeze this year, while a boom soon with the new contracts. If nothing else, that will give us a chance to churn some free agents for comp picks.

Expect some talk of ET before long. Certain if we don't take a presumptive FS starter high in the draft.
