'CowboyRoy' - being really bad one year does not mean an NFL team cannot turn it around in the next season.
'75 Patriots_ 3-11; '76 went 11-3 ..in the playoffs
'87 Bengals_ 4-12; '88 went 12-4.. in the Super Bowl
'03 Steelers_ 6-10; '04 went 15-1...in the AFC Title game
'11 Colts_ 2 -14; '12 went 11-5....in the playoffs
Tampa Bay Bucs
2017: 5-11
2018: 5-11
2019: 7-9
2020: 11-5____NFL Champions

He’s going from a bad team to a bad team. That’s my point. Nothing more.

Haha, I watch anime (oh come on, I'm a furry, this shouldn't be shocking haha), so that helps.
I truly thought, although I got a contract for a few local L.A. stations with Pepsi on contract at the time, that my learning was going to be a waste.

And then I worked another job and meeting a ton of Japanese women was a part of the process.
Lawd... being a green-eyed white boy that could talk face to face with you?
And be completely in reverence of respect?

I was literally handed a daughter (while at work, in front of my boss) and had to find a way to turn her down respectfully.
Horrible day.

Blimey, that must've been a shame. The Japanese are really nice people.

I would say that, draft-wise, this does affect the Cowboys and how they go about strategizing the new current situation.
Especially if they are doing like many teams are: agreeing to certain, situational trades depending on how the draft unfolds beforehand.
I disagree with you on this one.
not even close connecting the dots and theres as a draft thread use that one thes a draft forum section use that one but good try its useless trash nfl news and dont belong here and darnold is a joke regardless of the supporters the guy wil be lucky to be better then TB not sure what the panthers are thinking but its a lot of draft picks for HOPE!

it has zero to do wit the draft unless you know without doubt 100% who they were going to choose and how that changes things..more non cowboys trash in the Cowboy Only zone..

maybe we should have let dak walk and got Darnold, wonder how all these supporter would see him, this guy is Mr Butt fumble without the playoff appearances, let that sink in..his ceiling is Andy Dalton, period..oh poor sam he was drafted by the jets, sorry but special players show something special even on bad teams and all i see is another top 5 qb bust..hes a bottom 10 qb and at best will be a 16 ranked starter that it Carolina..

now back to real news..

If he can make a descent back up that's still peanuts.

That's about 650 draft points for all 3. Where he was drafted is 2,200 points.
Even less than that.
Those 2022 picks get devalued by a round...trade value-wise

definitely a steal

As a Baylor grad, I was really interested to see how Rhule will do in Carolina. After one year, I think he is going to do a very good job. I am not sure how their draft played out last year but I was impressed that they went mostly defense and found players who fit what Rhule is looking for. A lot of time when college coaches go to the pros, they go a little crazy early on with every shiny new object. It appeared they have a plan and are not getting distracted by shiny objects.

I really like the trade Darnold. I would expect him to play better in Carolina. How good will he be? Time will tell, but I think it is a good gamble at a pretty low cost.

Adam Gase was a QB killer.
Plus, the Jets had no weapons.

For the cheap price, not much downside in this move for the Panthers

I dont think Darnold is a bust at all.

Wrong situation.

Great value for Carolina

I don't think he is bad. He was on a bad team with a horrible coach. He's still only 23 and has 3 years under his belt. I think in a better situation, he may be a lot better than people think. I'd take him over the QB's that would have been available at 8.

I'm guessing they go somewhere on offense with that pick.

Pitts won’t last last Miami’s pick and I doubt the Cowboys would pick a WR in round one. I go Slater if he’s available. Plenty of good CB’s and S to be had in rounds two and three. Let’s sure up that oline first as otherwise all that money invested in QB, RB and WR will be a waste.

Somebody else gets it. Well said.
