I woukd not be happy tbh

I have a feeling, based on absolutely nothing, this team really likes both Jamin Davis and Zaven Collins, and would consider trading up from 44 for either

To be honest, Hitchens was pretty crappy as a prospect. Not very athletic, not overly productive; just a solid guy who had experience at a few LB positions for a bigger school. I'm amazed he turned out, because guys like him frequently don't make it in the NFL.
For a 4th rd pick, he was an excellent pick. Not only could he play all linebacker positions, but he was a capable spot starter that was able to do enough in coverage to stay on the field. I believe KC gave him a big extension after he left the Cowboys.

You pretty much can't ask for more from a 4th rounder than what we got out of him. Well, I guess Dak is an even better 4th rounder, but if you had a Hitches type player in every draft you'd be a happy camper

Who is his best Edge player? Phillips?

I would have no problem drafting Leatherwood as a future tackle. Maywood is slower and has shorter arms so I can see why some might see him as an OG.

I like Tuipulotu, but not as a 2nd rounder.

Why is it some people love Richie Grant and others call him overrated?

Probably because Grant didn't rate anywhere near his current 2nd round projection prior to his Senior Bowl performance. He was in the vicinity of a 4-5th rounder prior to that.

He turned out amazing. Just saying, those of us who railed against the pick were obviously wrong about the player, but the reason was because he was not a good prospect

Some guys are more football player then athletes. Jewell is another one of those Iowa players who has performed better than his draft position.

As usual full of great info.

Just some general things that popped out on 1st glance:
-Rousseau as a 2nd rounder
- Leatherwood and Mayfield both listed as OG
-Nixon and McNeil as 3rd rounders. Marlon Tuipulotu as a 2nd/3rd ahead of them.
-Jabril Cox 6th best LB
-Richie Grant is his #1 S. Grant and Moehrig both have 2nd round grades. Holland next with a 2nd/3rd

I'd love to be able to get McNeill in the third.

Curious where he ranks Barmore.

That's because the so called draft experts didn't know who he was, he has very good tape once they looked.

Since there is no more of Kiper's Blue Book, I guess this is the best out there.

But to be quite honest, the guide is good, but it has mistakes.

Kiper is The Godfather of the Draft. The irony is he’s been one of the worst evaluators of talent probably in the past 10-15 years.

His niche was always insider info on what teams’ scouts and front offices thought about players. I don’t think he’s even been to a combine.

As a guy bringing very little to the table on knowing these prospects at this point, I think my 3 favorite at 10 are Sewell, Slater and Surtain.

I wish we did more at DT in free agency. Maybe the bargain hunting guys are better then we expect, but I don't think this defense improves much until we upgrade the DT. Unfortunately it doesn't look like there is a guy worthy to be drafted at 10 at DT.
