Will Caleb Farley be completely off the Cowboy Board?

Many were split on who they liked as the top corner in the draft prior to the recent surgery news from Farley. Clearly 2nd back surgery makes taking Farley in the top 10 way too risky to consider.

Cowboys would need their doctors to review his medicals, in which they will either remove him completely off their board or lower his grade. If he is still a draftable player in their eyes, when he is worth the risk to take? I say in that 60 range and I'm a Farley fan, but believe one of the playoff teams at the end of rd 1 will take the chance.

No. The Jones’ egos mean that they always want to try to prove they outsmarted the rest of the league. I doubt we would take him at 10 but I could absolutely see a trade back up to get him if he slides to the end of the first

He'd only be off their board if he was healthy.

If the doctors clear him medically it probably doesn't impact the grade much at all.

Jut like LVE who is one hit from getting injured again and out for the season. Which is highly likely when his job is to make tackles.

Phillips appears to be the same type of risk.

Each is probably best at their position without the medical.

I have serious gut feeling though that either Rousseau or Phillips is a Cowboy by the end of Friday.

Could be 44 or a deal down from 10.

Not with those traits. Rumors are he would have been the top traits corner in the draft and might have ran a 4.3 forty if he participated in his pro day. He basically can be a faster version of Jaylon Ramsey.

Call me crazy but I’ll trust the medical professionals that actually exam him and have access to his medical records...not message board posters that take every player with an injury off of their non-existent board

This team should stay far away from Farley. This back surgery is his 2nd back surgery. And it may be what some consider minor but it’s not worth it.

I think he goes to the Titans at 22.

He was my pick at 10, if he lasted.
Daniel Jeremiah had him in the top 5 players argument. It might sound crazy but I could see a draft were Surtain goes at 8 and the Cowboys take a tackle at 10 then trade back up in the first round and pick Farley. That would actually be a perfect draft.

The Cowboys reportedly don't like agent Drew Rosenhaus. There was speculation that the Cowboys avoided DT Snacks Harrison as a free agent because of Rosenhaus.
