Why trade away from Sewell or Slater? They might be targeting a LB or CB.
there is not a linebacker worthy of round 1 IMO other than the ND kid. Parsons might fall into round 2 if he gets passed us at 10.You dont trade down from the sweet spot to take a linebacker when better ones will be there in round 2. You only trade down if you think you see your guy fall. Maybe I am wrong. Philly might have messed up.

loaded? Maybe some but like you said, they had some key injuries and couple that with Peters' age and how he's been hurt alot, I cant see them passing on a guy like Slater or Darrisaw at 12. That would fix their oline day 1. Gives them great quality and depth as well.
Peters was signed as a replacement for an injured starter, he isn't a starter moving forward, they have Dillard who was a 1st rd pick two seasons ago. Have a terrific Center, real good RG and probably the best RT in football.

NEVER trade away from a top flight olineman or playmaker when your picking 6 overall. They could have had there choice at 6. Now they better hope they are correct.

Dillard isnt very good and he was hurt too. Thats hardly something I would feel great about. They were patchwork last year like we were.

Can you name a Philly starting LB? I can't.

Dillard is the team's starting LT and was a former 1st rd selection.

think about that..they had to take him out of mothballs to play because they had nobody good enough to start. Glad Im not a philly fan. I can see why their fans arent happy.

I've heard they really like Waddle, he could slide, due to his injury.

Duke Riley is 1. Bradley is another. Both are ok but nothing special. I think they should have stayed put and taken Parsons then if they wanted a LB. Now they could miss on him. I like the ND kid better, and MAYBE they do too.

Both are terrible and won’t be good next year. Go Cowboys.

If I was the type to worry about how other teams are (which I'm not) I'd be more concerned with the Giants. When Barkley is going well their offense perks up quite a bit. And Jones is entering his 3rd year, that's about the time a lot of players start to "get it" and improve a lot. Three draft picks in the first 76, so if they draft well they could fix some of their deficiencies.

But the Cowboys have more of everything than the Giants, even not considering the draft this year.

I'm guessing the giants draft Waddle and the eagles trade up to 9 and pick Surtain.

The giants are going to be a good team next year. They are the sleeper. Their offense is going to be just fine. And how bad was their D last year? Not that bad of I remember correctly.

The Giants D was actually very good, considering the lack of names and a first year coordinator. Unlike Dallas’.

I have no idea what the Cowboys will do at 10, let alone what the Giants and Eagles will do at 11 and 12.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see the Eagles or Giants take Lance or Fields if they are there. Is anyone really sold on Hurts and Jones?

My guess is that the Eagles really wanted Pitts or Chase and thought neither would be there at 6. Maybe the Eagles see little difference in Sewell vs Slater vs Darrisaw, or Chase vs Waddle vs Smith, or Surtain vs Horn vs Farley.

My guess is the Giants go Waddle and the Eagles go Horn.

Did you see the Eagles fans reactions on YouTube after we took Lamb?
If you haven't you are really missing out.
I would post them here but as you would expect. Lots of profanity.
I would love to see some more Eagle meltdown videos again after this draft.
I remember watching one that was hilarious. I always want Dallas to take the best player for the team but sticking it to the division rivals is a great bonus.

Picking right after us kinda weird and annoying. Who do they want? Eagles probably want wr or line backer? Looking like one them might get parson or waddle? That gonna suck.

Would you rather it were the other way around?

I think the Eagles are a mess and should be for a while. They will probably need 2-3 really good drafts to really turn things around.

The Giants improved as the year went on and are probably the favorites to win the division with Washington. Both the Giants and Washington need better QB play though. If they find a QB or if their current QB's play better, both those teams are in pretty decent spots. Although finding that QB is tough.

Agreed.

QB is the one area where Dallas clearly has the advantage over the rest of the division. But both the Giants and Washington are much better defensively.

The Eagles?

They look like an absolute mess to me.
