Does Dak really care about the Super Bowl when he negotiates for every penny?

Jerry is to blame for giving in to Dak’s contract demands. Dak didn’t sacrifice a penny to help the team, but Jerry agreed with it. It is the fans that are the ones that are losing out. Dak got his money, Jerry is making his money and the fans gets season after season of subpar teams to support. Jerry is not going to change until the fans stop buying the tickets and gear.

Jerry just cares about being relevant and that is what he purchased.

What’s really helping him is our division being trash. We’d have to be some kind of awful to not be a playoff team next year.

You wouldn’t say it to Dak’s face so what does that make you? Starts with a c and ends with a d.

You know nothing about me... I would most certainly say it to his face. If he's dumb enough to get mad about someone giving their opinion and then try to beat them up, then maybe he should grow up or grow thicker skin.

I like Dak and he is a smart person, BUT, He knows this team needs Defense badly! We cannot win a Super Bowl without a legitimate Defense. As great as Tom Brady is, he has never won a Super Bowl without an outstanding D. Look what Tampa Bay’s Defense did to Aaron Rogers and Mahomes in back to back games!

I wish Dak would have taken 33-35 million( still Amazing $ ) per year. This would have left more money to sign someone like KJ Wright prior to the draft. This would have, enabled us, to check of a MAJOR DEFENSIVE need prior to the draft.

What has Russel Wilson won since signing his huge contract? Not many playoff games! He just whines about getting sacked. Hey Russel, maybe your team could have upgraded your O line, IF THEY HAD THE MONEY!!
Signing Wright had nothing to do with Daks contract. It's everything to do with the Jones not spending money. Even when Dak was paid pennies why didn't they sign big free agents...... the money is there even with Dak signed. Besides his contract counts 22 million this season which is 13 million less than what you wanted him signed for

Dak’s priority is Dak. Not that he doesn’t care about team success. But selfless is not a good descriptor of the guy.
Yep cause Dak paying for his teammates to go to San Diego to work out in the offseason is someone that is about themselves and not the team

I would, but that is completely irrelevant. Stating so is very weird. Why is that important to you?
Not impressed with someone calling someone they don’t even know a “greedy punk” behind their back. It’s cowardly.

He should be paying for it. He's the highest paid player on the team by a large margin. And what makes you think they're working out? They're probably spending most of their time in Tijuana going to the donkey shows.

If he wasn't acting like a greedy punk no one would feel the need to call him one.
He’s not. He’s just any other player on their 2nd contract trying to get paid because he played for over 4 years being paid like a 4th rounder who plays like a 1st rounder. He’s not hurting the team AT ALL. That’s just something you haters spew. His cap hit this year is 22 million and next year its 31 mil while the salary cap is going to sky rocket. You guys are blinded by your hate. It’s quite sad.

Wow ........ what a stupid thread ....... funny how no other QB is expected to do this on his first contract.

Tyron Smith took a team friendly deal on his contract 10 years ago and these same fans have been trying to replace him for the last few years.

Idiots worrying about a Salary cap that the owners make up and pretend they are handicapped with.

This was before his contract and before he was franchise tagged..... good try though.

If I get offered more money at work I'm taking it. If it means we can't afford another architect that aint my business. I can't tell my wife I turned down money so the firm could hire Pencile McGregor. Sorry but that ain't the move.
It's amazing how so many fail to make the connection that regular business also deal with their version of a "Salary Cap" called a budget.

Until one of them are willing to take much less pay so that their employer can hire more people, I can't help but think they are massive hypocrites.

Remember, EVERY time you take that raise, that means there is less money for your current, and/or potentially future, co-workers.

Just sayin'.

That isn't what you said about Zeke. There's no difference when negotiating. You ask...and either accept or decline. Dak declined the same as Zeke did.

You are a hypocrite.

The difference between Zeke and Dak which I mentioned is Dak honored his rookie deal and Zeke held out with 2 years still left on his, if you can not see the difference not sure how I can help.

you dak haters and your labeling just crack me up all the time.....Dak is not a franchise saving QB. Dak is an NFL top 10 QB, and its been proven over and over and over and over and over and over again, that the easiest path to a superbowl is when you have a top 10 QB. then you build the rest around him....the other way is to build an all time NFL defense like ravens did, and go with a dilfer type of QB...but then again, you have to Pay a Lewis, Nagata, Reed and few other defensive players to build a defense like that...if you can promise me that we can build a defense like that I would trade back for Dalton.....
“You Dak haters,” then you say “and your labeling,” sad you do the labeling. You are so funny I get a good laugh from from the top 10 joke. 5 seasons and nothing to show but bloated stats. Dak is a good QB not a top 10 QB who is paid like a top 2, dream on Dak is taking this team nowhere.

But that isn't what I asked. you. I asked you a VERY simple question and you keep not answering.

Yes...I get it....zeke held out. I didn't like it either.

But why can;t you admit Dak would have done the same if they didn't pay what he asked? It makes little difference WHEN. Dak refused very nice offers and is making Jerry pay big...just EXACT:Y like zeke did. Just admit it...for your own good.
