At 0:54 ...there's no way that's normal running for an NFL LBer.
I imagine even Steele being active for a game was never considered in their wildest dreams1st of all they didn't want to play Steel and Knight. If they had a choice those 2 OL would be sitting next to anae and robinson at home. But injuries happen, and this time the tackles were so depleted untill coaches had little choice, even eventually moving Martin to tackle so steel can get back on the bench untill he too was hurt. I do hope the new DC gives anae and robinson a shot in camp, we'll just have to see how things shake out.

He was 5th on the depth chart behind the starters, Irvin, and knight
I think the fact they got those reps was great. The fact we needed them to start games is why we are picking at 10
Not getting Anae and Robinson meaningful reps was just plain dumb
Great point. Yeah it is.This is a cool program. I like it
Roth IRA.Good. Hopefully he is putting that into an IRA asap....
I’d bet good money that if Dak and the offensive line stay healthy this year that Zeke will have a banner year compared to last.Sorry, maybe someone else can console you with RB ever revisiting prior performance.
Rbs seldom if ever get better on 2nd contracts, or I should say the value of a top payed 2nd contract to a RB.
My point is valid....only way Dalton hit those incentives is if he started more games and based Daltons track record with Bengals we were heading for a top 5 pick. Dalton had a better winning percentage with Bengals hello Burrow....Dalton average QB play always seems to pass the Eye TestDalton had the highest win percentage of any QB who started games for us last season (with Dak right behind him - no this was not a bash Dak post). If anything he is a reason we don't have a top 5 pick. Now if DiNucci was on that list you'd have a point.
Agreed... but if the owner ain't trippin...So they should be taking money from Jaylon based on performance...

No doubtSteel was certainly a worst case scenario. I agree those guys needed reps but 95+% of all coaches will play the more veteran guys over rookies in the believe they have a better chance to earn a Win even if their performance is the same. I hope they get a better shot in camp. That's why unless your an early draft pick it takes an injury or something for some guys to finally get their shot on the field.
No doubt
I don’t think anyone ever expected Steele to see the field
But later in the year I wish they had got Anea and Robinson some reps too
The only bright spot from last year was seeing some of the young guys show a little something
After a rough start he really did improve a great deal. Still rough but if he can continue improving....Not sure why this guy is getting hate. He went from street FA to starting in the NFL and did an admirable job considering. I'd have no problem keeping him and Knight as backups.
If someone can show me his offseasson work ethic, I think you will have a view on whether he will get back to the player he was. What are your current thoughts on Elliott?
I want someone to convince me he is going to return to being the player he can be.
You're the right guy.
Appreciate...
