I still wouldn’t draft him with 10.

If the cowboys don’t take a corner in the first though. This smells like a Jerry jones pick at 44 if he is still there.....

Love those injured players in the second.

Still wouldn't touch him with a 1st rounder........lack of positional experience and injury history too much for me.
I agree.

I was never convinced he was the best CB in the draft before the injury. He was probably the best athlete. There were many people questioning his knowledge of the position.

I'm a huge Farley fan and I wouldn't touch him at rd 1, if he is there at 44 and we didn't take a corner yet, I would be tempted there, but probably would go with someone else. Back problems don't go away, 2 surgeries no bueno.

I think the fear is more that it could be a recurring issue than him being ready for the season
That seems to be a fear by fans rather than doctors. From what I've read it was a weight lifting injury and it was two disks at the very bottom of the spine where it meets the hips. From what I can find people in general don't tend to have need for further surgeries of this type, with these two lower disk the least likely.

Take it from me, I ruptured the L4-L5, L5-L6 and L6-S1 discs during my previous employment as a firefighter on the Fire Rescue truck. I needed major lower back surgery. My lower back (waist) is the actual nucleus/core of your body. It's only gotten worse with age and time. I know I need another surgery, but I would rather just live with it. This type of injury and at its location is no joke. As your waist shifts out of place, you're pretty much shot. You can't do much of anything until your waist shifts back into place.

Dude you are rare, most folk don't have 6 lumbar vertebrae . I agree with you.
