I'm not open to listening to Fish much, these days -- everything he says is aimed at getting attention with his BS; he's anything but reliable. It's a good bet we'll be looking in the direction of a CB, OT, or LB in round one. I think it's unlikely we'd move down to take him later in the 1st round, which is where he's most likely going to be taken. Our FO doesn't favor the safety position to that extent.

Unfortunately, the strength of this draft is the secondary. DL is a really really bad class this year. I'd like to just throw a ton of picks at DT and DE later in the draft, but the elite talent is in the secondary, for sure

Hey I'm no one to criticize your thought process. I feel the same way. You build from the ball outward. At the same time, we have a bad habit of ignoring the safety position. The last time we put any legitimate resources at it, was Roy Williams. I miss Roy in his prime with Dwood back there terrifying receivers.

Either we move back a couple times in the first or move up from the second into the first of we want him. I’d be fine with him, Grant, Holland or Washington. And Washington could be had in 3rd round, maybe 4th did to his size.
