Would you do a trade-back with the Eagles?

Seriously, why?

Let's say Surtain and Horn are there at 10, and the Cowboys have them ranked basically the same. Why would they not take a pick from Philly (say #84, which is a fair trade) so that Philly can take Waddle? The Cowboys get their guy, and Waddle was going to end up with the Eagles or Giants anyway. Why would you not make that deal? And why would the Eagles' status as a division rival matter in the least?

If you're looking at a clear BPA at 10, then it would take a lot more to get you to trade out of that spot, but again, why would the division rivalry matter?

Let the Eagles take that pint sized WR. I would rather they get him than a tough defender or Olineman.

If the Cowboys knew for sure wr would be the pick for both teams it would basically be a free pick since I doubt the Cowboys are looking at receiver. But if Eagles and Giants both take corner then it would be an L.
Eagles are desperate for corner. Would not do it unless they give the house.

This reminds me of that hilarious video of the Eagles supporter when we traded up to get Biadasz. If the Eagles guaranteed they take a WR you’d have to consider it as there is only one pick you’d need to worry about.

And we get some of their picks in exchange for someone we didn't want anyway? Sign me up.

For the right price, yes. Throw the trade chart away. They'd have to make me an offer I just couldn't refuse. Their 2nd round pick is a good start.

A trade back with the Eagles, who are just two turns behind us in the draft, wouldn't likely be beneficial enough to make it worthwhile. Our trade rewards would surely be minimal and would be prone to serving their purpose more than ours. Making deals with the enemy when you already hold a distinct advantage isn't likely to be an advisable move.

I trust farts more than the Eagles.
They're not going to lie about who they're taking. They have to conduct business with every team all the time, and if they lied like that, every team would know it immediately. These guys are professionals, not fans; they won't burn bridges like that.
